Although we didn’t fish at the pier, we enjoyed a wonderful lunch there. The views are fantastic. How could they not be when you’re surrounded by water? We ordered the calamari and the fried shrimp is appetizers and they were delicious really nicely cooked. The bar was friendly with plenty of selection. Fantastic seafood restaurant with great oysters! We got the raw, spinach and bacon and the garlic Parmesan and they were all delicious. Cooked perfectly! We also got the NOLA mussels which were in this light creole sauce that was so good we got 2! From the freshly shocked oysters to the perfectly steamed clams for appetizers. The half salad would be considered a full salad at most places. Had them Mac and crab and it was delicious. The drinks were cold and the service was great. Fried shrimp were perfectly cooked. The egg roll appetizer w/ the collard greens in them are so unique and full of yummy 😋 flavor, & my braised beef ribs melted in my mouth. Cool atmosphere, good price points and great service. This place has definitely been added to my favorites and will be visited whenever I’m in VA Beach!!

Shrimp basket was lightly fried and the romalade and cocktail sauce was great! Server Desiree was so attentive and was very friendly! I needed more bread to soak up the white wine sauce.Grilled salmon on garlic roasted potatoes, onions, and tomatoes topped with sautéed asparagus and an herb-pepper goat cheese cream. It was delicious; the sautéed asparagus and an herb-pepper goat cheese cream was unique and worked well with the salmon. The potatoes, onion, and tomatoes were seasoned well.
Crab topped flounder: broiled and topped with jumbo lump crabmeat sautéed with tomato, scallions, garlic, and butter. The quality of the seafood was great, hence the flavors was great. I had sides of corn and hush puppies. They were good too.
My only complaint was the portion was small.
Service was good overall.

Started with the FRIED OYSTERS & MUSSELS with side salads: GREEK & HOUSE!! Then added the half pound CRABLEGS! Perfect!!!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! 👍🏾

A nice seafood restaurant in the Hilton Norfolk that is worth the trip. This is a large restaurant in the Hilton that has a large bar in addition to a main dining room and more private dining areas. The seafood selections are many and varied and tend to be twists on classic dishes. The service is also attentive and the beverage selection is very nice. We enjoyed a range of dishes from raw oysters on the half shell, smoked fish dip, to fresh catch of the day (rockfish bronzed). We made reservations and were on time. The staff that created us were extremely kind. Our group was seated right away. The wait staff were all so nice and knowledgeable. The ensued we got our food just the way we wanted it. The food was very good. As a vegan I was limited to salad and four veggie sides. One of which I was not fond of. Overall, it was a nice dining experience. Once we finished our meal we headed to the bar and had a few drinks. This was a fun experience. The bar tenders made excellent drinks and were good people. I could have made my dinner on this soup alone, seasoned to perfection; creamy and served at the right temperature; I dare not even put the oyster crackers in it; why tamper with perfection? The scallops were buttery & juicy, I would say extremely well seasoned. Honestly everything that touched our pallets was extremely delicious; from the crab cake, to the vegetables to the potatoes & let’s not forget that amazing She Crab Soup. I would definitely come back here, the service from Angeline was nothing less than stellar. She provided great service coupled by a great personality and was extremely knowledgeable of the dishes. This place has a nice selection of seafood for the price. I went in the evening so it was very busy. The cashier and cooks were busy filling orders and attending customers but were always very friendly and welcoming! I purchased two fish and shrimp plates and hush puppies with macaroni and cheese and a 1 gallon tea. The fish and shrimp were cooked well, not too hard or soft but the macaroni and cheese was not as appetizing. It’s an white cheese macaroni that really lacked the flavor of a traditional macaroni. I went here because new dishes that just came out popped on my news feed. I IMMEDIATELY head over to try the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and the spicy skrimp basket. Upon opening the bag at home I noticed that both items did NOT look like what was pictured and what I was looking forward too. The sandwich did not have Nashville hot sauce around the chicken like in the picture, and the Skrimp basket was missing the peppers and onions in the picture.
