Delicious! I was given a gift card and finally decided to go use it with my parents and my little girl this evening. Crystal was our server, and everything we ordered was dead on the money amazing! We enjoyed our meal experience and will be back next time we are in Macon! Thanks so much!

Clean restrooms, changing table for my little girl and just a very nice evening, thank you!

Please shut this red lobster down!!
I ordered a rasberry margarita and they gave me red wine with ice. Ordered classic margarita and it was white wine with lime and ice. Waitress said they got “new” alcohol. The food came an hour after we ordered. There were only 2 guys at the bar, one other table and us. Absolutely no excuse!! Never got the side of mash potatoes or the side salad i ordered. Food wasn’t good. Even the customers at the other table were complaining. We paid over $75 for a bunch of disappointment. Y’all got to do better!

My husband I were traveling from Florida for business reasons and chose the Red Lobster Riverside to have a late lunch(endless shrimp). We were seated near the bar/to go counter. When we arrived there was only 1 table with a group of elderly folks. We ordered the drinks and meal then waited a good bit for bread (I took a short nap, honest truth). So while we waited decided to share a salad which I’d requested as a host past by and it came pretty quick(before the bread). Then after we ate our salad the strawberry lemonade came. Then a white couple with a child came on and another black couple come and was seated in the booth behind us about 30 minutes later. Our food had not come but the manager came over and started greeting tables starting with the elderly folks and working her way around. Stopping at each table having conversation about why they chose to come there thanking them telling them to do a google review and just a lot of friendly chit chat with each table. She gets to our table and stops long enough to ask me to put my phone down (we were viewing properties). I looked up and let her know that’s the nature of our business. Then we got bread. After the bread is gone the food comes and it’s good but no cocktail sauce for me so again I make the request from a host. A while later it comes after the waitress brought the tables behind us their food. We ordered a total of two rounds of the shrimp. We were here over two hours and never got a refill on drinks or bread nor did anyone ask. Everything thing I needed had to be requested from people passing by to check on the tables behind us. Oh they did stop long enough to pick up the empty salad bowl and then our first shrimp but no ” can I get your anything?” I mean the other folks were well taken care of and we kept thinking maybe they were celebrities. The white couple left satisfied with the brown bag at least 30 minutes before us even though they came 30-45 minutes after us. The couple behind us got the refill of drinks during their visit. I requested the check and asked for a carry out and lemonade to go. I couldn’t even get a receipt after I paid. Again I asked the hostess as she came to cash out a to go order. On my way out the waitress who had her hands full carrying an order said she would get it for me but I told her not to worry herself. This was a one woman show and honestly I didn’t want to stress her! I was excited when I came because of the staff I saw looked like Mr but disappointed after the experience. We definitely left feeling devalued as customers!

It’s been years since I’ve been to Red Lobster. Not because of the restaurant, just not one near by really. This one was very good. Food was great. Service was on point. Restaurant overall appeal and appearance was as expected. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was because of the bar. They were slow and somewhat inattentive. I stood there for several minutes with at lease 2 people behind bar before being asked anything. Then they asked another customer, whom arrived after me, if they needed anything before me. I was disappointed in the bar service. Didn’t feel important as a customer should. Everything else was fine.

I’m only giving it 2 stars because the food I did eat was good. Went with 3 other people on a Sunday during lunch time and they weren’t busy. Our hostess sat us and our waitress, Cheyenne, was at our table within minutes to take drink and food orders. I ordered a create your own with a steak, cooked medium and shrimp scampi and broccoli. The food arrived and I asked for condiments. She never returned to the table. She attended to tables near us. NEVER CAME BACK. She left the condiments sitting on the back of a booth across the room. When I cut into my steak it was rubbery and tough and extremely well done. I continued to eat everything else. There were no other servers around to assist either. When she finally did return, I had eaten all of the shrimp scampi and everyone else was finished. I let her know my steak was not correct and I no longer wanted it. My party was getting boxes and ready to settle their checks. She told me to put it on a small plate and she’d have them cook it more. I asked for a medium steak and got well done. How was the kitchen going to cook it more when it’s well past done? I politely told her no because we did not have time to wait for another steak to be cooked and I’d already eaten everything else. I just asked it be removed from my check. When she returned, my check was $21.04…that is the original price of the create your own. I was still being charged full price. I brought it to her attention and she snatched the ticket with an attitude. When returned 10 mins later, the total was $20.85…what was removed? Taxes?…I asked to speak to the manager because I only wanted to pay for what I was able to enjoy. Cheyenne rolled her eyes and marched off with an attitude. My party had already went to the car. I had to wait another 15 mins for her to return and finally bring me the corrected check. I paid and still left a cash tip. There was no need for attitude. I was polite and simply wanted to make things right. I was disappointed because I only wanted what was fair. If it could have been corrected at the beginning of the meal, I would have been more than happy to have another one cooked. Started off good but just went downhill…

The really hit the nail on the head in here! The food, drinks and atmosphere were lovely. Our bartender was personable and we really enjoyed the brunch menu. I loved my bloody Mary topped with fried okra, fried shrimp and green olives. The breakfast sandwich was a great way to start my day. Will be back again.

Enjoyed the food and service. Our server, Briana was very nice and courteous. Cool music for outside dining. There were four adults and two children which is why it was $100+.😊

Coming to visit Georgia from down south Louisiana and finding such a wonderful atmosphere to enjoy some of my Louisiana favorites was a huge win in my book. The decor is very well done and food and service is superb. Jenny, our server was prompt, polite, and super knowledgeable about the surrounding areas and most importantly the food. Highly recommend this place to get a taste of the bayous south of the saltwater line deep in Louisiana kitchens.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Loved the Cajun pasta. The seafood dip was good, but not a favorite. Will definitely eat here again when visiting Macon. Look forward to sampling more of their menu.

This is my first time going here and it was delicious! I order the sausage gumbo and it was really really good! I like that it didn’t give to much spiciness just the right amount. The bread pudding was good as well. Will definitely try some other items!

This is a great place to have lunch or dinner. The atmosphere was wonderful. Plenty of room, a nice variety of meals on the menu. The customer service was great and the prices were pretty good. They do not offer military discount but still a good place to vibe and chill while having a good tasting seafood meal.

Passing through town and had to stop in to one of our favorite places in middle GA. Jam-Pups to start we’re fantastic as usual. Make sure you extra remoulade sauce, cause it’s so good! I got Captain Lee’s combo basket with fried shrimp and fried grouper. Get some buffalo sauce on the side. (Great flavor). My son got a Fried Shrimp Po-Boy. He said it was delightful. Enjoy this place folks, it’s a gem! Congrats to Lee and Kelly! Your place is amazing. If you are interested in a drink? See Darren or Alex. Great folks in the bar area. Also if you see Ashley, tell her Hi. Such a great place to eat and enjoy!

Went here for the first time last week! Got an outside table on the patio that faces the street. Our waiter Daron was excellent! He had a great vibe and was just the right amount of attentive and fun. I ordered the 3 mix and max tacos-all shrimp. Mexican, Cajun, and firecracker tacos with a side of green beans. The tacos were excellent and the green beans even better! Sautéed with a bit of bacon and super plump cherry tomatoes! I would definitely recommend this spot and will absolutely go again next time I’m in Macon!

All these reviewers got it right, this is a GREAT Cajun and seafood restaurant in little ole’ landlocked Macon, GA!

Came in with a party of seven on a Thursday night about 7 o’clock and there was no wait. We were able to get right in and get our food. Service was fast and friendly. Our server, Mikayla, was AWESOME! Knowledgeable about the menu, welcoming and efficient, she couldn’t have been more charming.

There were so many things I wanted to try on the menu! It was great that I came with a group of friends because then I got to sample lots of things!

We got a bunch of appetizers including the jam pups – jambalaya hush puppies, the jezebel sausage and fried pickle planks. The jam pups were good, but my favorite of those three was absolutely the jezebel sausage bites – alligator and pork sausage served with a sweet and spicy “jezebel” sauce to dip them in and some crackers for crunch!

By the time our entrees came, I was so impressed with what I was eating, I completely forgot to take pictures.

My friend and I ordered different things and promised to share so that we could split our meals and sample more of the menu! I got the red snapper royale, a large plank of tender white fish smothered in a gently spicy shrimp and Tasso cream sauce. The creamy, smoky Tasso ham sauce was a perfect compliment to the shrimp and snapper. I had cheese grits and gumbo on the side and they were so good too.

My friend ordered the LGC, a lobster grilled cheese. She got a giant sandwich with perfectly crunchy bread filled with succulent lobster and creamy, tangy cheese plus diced tomato and green onion. The LGC made my taste buds explode in happiness. It doesn’t get any better than this, folks. The LGC is crave-ably delicious.

Desserts were lemon ice box cake, with a meringue your grandma would fawn over, a giant slab of chocolate cake, not too sweet with multiple layers of cake and frosting and my favorite, their “cheesecake of the moment” was shockingly good.

Can’t forget drinks! They have a great selection of local beers and hard cider and a creative, coastal-themed cocktail menu. My “Orange Beach,”with Captain Morgan’s, Malibu, pineapple, almond milk and grenadine was dangerously smooth and sweet.

This was one of those restaurant experiences that makes you sad you don’t live closer. I’ll definitely be coming back when my travels take me to Macon again.

We sat the bar with a fantastic bartender, Ashley, and I got a delicious cocktail they had for summer special. The atmosphere was great, and she was great conversation. We started off with the fried pickles, which had a thick fried batter, very flavorful. We ordered the Captain Lee platter that had fried chicken tenders, fish, and shrimp with 2 orders of fries. We enjoyed it very much!

What can I say, superbly satisfied. We were very well taken care of by out server. Our salads were crisp and fresh, with the right balance of cheese and dressing. Our entrees delightfully delicious and packed with flavor. Our dessert of key lime cake left us full and happy. Great ambiance, great service and great food! Way to go Bonefish.

We dined at Bonefish Grill – Macon over the weekend and our food was not good AT ALL!! Our service was great (4 stars for the overall service we received from beginning to end) but the food received 2 stars (I’m being nice with the 2 stars). We ordered 3 appetizers (mussels, crab fries, and imperial dip) and the mussels were decent. I did not like the crab fries, they were fries topped with yellow cheese sauce and a little bit of crab meat – not worth the price but a majority was eaten. The imperial dip was not that good, not a lot of seafood mixed into the cheese mixture, but it was eaten.
For dinner we ordered the scallops and shrimp (which was pretty good) and the cod imperial. The word “imperial” should have been a clue, and it is after the fact, that the cod was topped with the imperial dip appetizer. The cod imperial was NOT GOOD AT ALL!!! The cod was dry, the imperial dip was not good, and the added capers did not help. The creamed spinach (an added $3 cost) was the worst I’ve eaten. The creamed spinach tasted like canned spinach mixed with melted cheese, kind of like a bad spinach & cheese dip, and the mash potatoes tasted like powered mashed potato. Thankfully our server was understanding and took the plate back.
We’ve eaten at this location before and had a great experience, hence our return, but this will be our last.

It was a good experience. The atmosphere and customer service was elegant and wonderful. The prices of the meals were pretty decent for the type of establishment. They had a vast amount of dishes to choose from. The dishes I chose were all good. Not the best I’ve had (I’ve eaten all over the world) but very good. Again I really enjoyed the customer care and service received. Definitely the type of place to go on a first date or anniversary like occasion.

Out for date night, we had never eaten here before. I got the Sea Bass and it was delicious, only complaint was it was smaller serving size then I would have liked. Wife got steak and shrimp, it came out medium not medium well. But they fixed it and all was well.

Excellent dinner!! The pimento cheese fritters with pepper jelly were the PERFECT start.. hot, rich, and oozing with cheese.. the sweet spice of the jelly was an palette pleasing addition and complemented the fritters perfectly. Next- the crawfish meat- sooooo delicious, blackened was my choice- and it was everything that I could have wanted and more!! The seasoning and the dipping sauce was just the right amount of flavor- the meat was tender and juicy and oh so good! For my entree, I got cold boiled shrimp with a baked potato (butter, sour cream, and chives), and hush puppies. It was also very good. Sweet tea- delicious! I’m craving it again as I wrote this.. 😜

Ate at Jim Shaw’s in Macon, Georgia and really enjoyed our experience. We ordered the Red Snapper, and the Mahi. Both meals were prepared exactly like we wanted, and cooked to perfection. Our waitress Julia was very pleasant and efficient at her job. She had a great personality and made you feel welcome, and made you want to return. The food was fairly priced and the amount served was plenty. I also enjoyed the tossed salad and the salad dressing I chose. We would definitely return if we are ever in the area again.

First time trying this place. I ordered the fried pimento cheese fritters based on someone else’s review. Best choice ever! Those things are amazing. I ordered the blackened crawfish and fried clam strips with hush puppies and squash casserole. Everything was amazing! My date ordered a filet of cod with the squash casserole, lima beans, and cole slaw. He loved evedything he got too. So so so good! A little pricey but it’s seafood and to be expected. The place is older and needs a little TLC. The bathrooms are like closets. Squishy and needed some cleaning. Our waitress was very sweet, kind, and had great food suggestions. Definitely will return.

This place is amazing. Finally got the chance to eat here after driving by so many times and seeing it full. Nothing was less than quality. I got soft shell crab and oysters with battered fries and caesar salad. Crab soup for the appetizer. It’s a lot of food and worth every penny
