Highly recommend! Their food is consistently EXCELLENT! Best Cajun Shrimp 🍤 and Grits I’ve ever had! I try them every where we go. Jonah’s is a must try restaurant in Thomasville. The staff is always delightful. The outdoor seating is great when the weather allows.

VERY effective and efficient resturant!! From check-in to leaving, everyone was very courteous. Hannah greeted us and answered our questions about the menu while we waited to be seated. Kayla was the most gracious server. Sarah even checked on us to ensure we were pleased with our meal.

We live an hour away and were always hesitant taking the drive despite the rave reviews. Honestly I’m picky about seafood but I can say 1. It’s worth the drive and brief wait 2. Come hungry or be prepared to take a box home 3. Know you will enjoy and pay excellent prices for what you receive!! This was our first visit but we will be back.

I’ve been here twice and will brave this alcohol-free restaurant anytime for the food! The shrimp and scallops pesto pasta is tasty and enough for 2-3 meals. The shrimp and grits are delicious and the gingersnap salmon is the best salmon I’ve had at a restaurant in a long time – cooked just right (I hate when it’s overcooked and rubbery) and the crust is surprisingly perfect with the salmon!

Their hush puppies are the best I’ve eaten and the peanut butter pie for dessert is delicious if you like a good chocolate ganache!

Cute little place in Thomasville. The ambience on the outdoor seating feels romantic and relaxing. Staff was very friendly and we got our orders very quick. The hush puppies were enormous and very tasty! We had the cyclone shrimp, the classic shrimp and grits and the Grouper tasso and they were all seasoned and cooked perfectly! Overall, it was a great experience and I will be back again to try other things on the menu.

Fish and grits were delicious. We stopped here on the taste of thomasville tour and would definitely come back for a full meal! The hush puppies were massive but somehow very moist all the way through. Just a side not Jonah’s is first come first serve so get there early!!

I first visited this place in 2007/8. Since Tallahassee still lacks a decent fresh seafood restaurant, you have no choice but drive to Thomasville.
Their specialty combo plates are larger than what it says: specialty for 2 is enough for 3.
If your order has hushpuppies, make sure to have them first while they’re still warm. I highly recommend their Crab cakes.

Started not to tell u guys about this Gem I found but it wouldn’t be fair if I don’t. Excellent food and service. Love the outside tables and plenty of parking. Owner ( George ) checks on his customers. Oyster Poboy was great. Cost little more than a fast food place but we’ll worth it.

I appreciate wonderful service now. Hard to find anywhere but here. I will definitely return.
P.S. they have a drive thru window for Togo orders also.
    Won’t regret going here.

Great atmosphere, large menu. Hush puppies were delicious. I felt that my Scallop dinner was underwhelming for the price, but I’ll just get something else next time.

First time to Thomasville, GA and my wife and I stopped here for lunch. This restaurant matches the charm of the city in that many historic building have been blended into the landscape and culture of today. Once a train station this restaurant is charming and friendly. The wedge salad was good and my wife enjoyed the chicken salad. We very much enjoyed the outdoor seating and breeze. The food was good but serving sizes were small. Wait staff was friendly and attentive.

The food was amazing! My Mom and Dad loved it too. Beautiful setting in the old railway station and has outside seating. We had grilled Grouper … Perfect; shrimp and grits … Huge portion and excellent; and Sausage and Chicken Gumbo … Yummy! Also enjoyed the fried green tomatoes! Service was excellent!

Tried SASS for lunch on a day trip with my daughter. Convenient location and really nice atmosphere. Our server, Nick was attentive and friendly. The food was delicious! You have to try the gumbo and the red beans & rice. Highly recommend!

I’m telling you now, get on over to Sass!!! RUN don’t walk!! You will not regret it!! @sassthomasville is truly a gem. My manager has literally been raving about this place since they opened and man, now we all wish we had gone sooner. They turned an old train depot into a restaurant so it gives rustic/historic vibes with outside seating near under the old landing. But the star of the show was most definitely the food. For starters we had the Pimento Cheese Bread and the Sha Bam Shrimp. For our entrees we enjoyed the Caleb’s Butter-Basted Grilled Ribeye 14oz (loaded baked potato and asparagus), Surf & Turf with the 6oz filet and sha bam shrimp (loaded mashed potatoes and asparagus), Big Boy blackened shrimp Po’ Boy with cheese grits, Sha Bam chicken tenders with cheese grits, and the lunch portion Seared Salmon with Maple Syrup & Ginger Glaze with asparagus. *Whew* that was a lot… but wait, there’s more!! Yep, we made room for dessert!! The Sister’s Beignets, Mrs. Opal’s Mountain Dew Peach Cobbler, and Eleanor’s Pound Cake were all so delicious!!😋

Hosted a celebratory dinner at the Plaza. I was blown away by the customer service Becky provided (I think that’s her name). There was a total of 20 people in our party. She attended to everyone’s need and was courteous. I personally want to thank Cassandra for her professionalism and checking on us prior to the end of her shift. We reserved the Garden Room and it was decorated beautifully. I can’t forget the staff that prepared the food. Thank you all so much! Because of your help, the surprise party was a success!!

The food is very good, the place is nice with a nice history. Our waitress wasn’t terrible, super unpolite, stressed or something like that. Somebody probably made her mad because if she is that way she shouldn’t be serving people. If wasn’t for her, our experience would be even better, specially because we traveled from far away just to have a meal there and ho back home.

Finally got a chance to stop in for dinner for my 50th Birthday. Having moved from NY to FL 4 yrs ago we have been desperate to find good food…(no offense southerners but the food down here just isn’t on the same level as up north) anyway…we are SOOOO happy we got here. Was by far the best dinner I’ve had since moving here, my Filet Oscar was cooked perfectly and was extremely tender, the oysters casino were delicious as were the bacon wrapped shrimp, my husband had blackened whole flounder and it was superb! The cheesecake was also delicious. The service was great and our server stopped by numerous times to check on us and see that all was ok…all in all it was a prefect dining experience and well worth the money and 45 minute drive…we will definitely be stopping un again very soon!

My mother, her friend and myself went for lunch today. I had not eaten there in years and years. Well, we all had grilled shrimp along with different sides. All 3 of us very much so enjoyed every morsel. I can’t believe I have been missing out for so long! I will hopefully be back Saturday!!! Thank you and hat’s off to the chef. Absolutely the best Greek Salad I’ve had in, ummm…. well, ever now that I think of it! Teresa Baker Branch

My family and I stopped in for quick dine-in meal around 4pm on 8/6/22. We received our meals quickly and found appropriate seating in the dining area. We were shocked with the persistent profane language coming from the kitchen. The staff wasn’t arguing with each other but having a loud casual conversation with each other using profanity. I expected better. This level of unprofessionalism is contrary to what I am accustomed to when visiting Zaxby’s. Will have to think long and hard before visiting this location again…

My family has been eating at this location for two and a half years. While it is one of the best tasting fast food options to choose from, this location has never been able to pull it together for service or speed of food preparation. I’m sure the first thought would be that there’s not enough resources on staff. Go ahead and mark that one off the list because that is definitely not the case at this location. It is clearly mismanaged and poorly operated. I thought I was getting ahead of the game by recently downloading the mobile app and ordering online. Big mistake! If you’re reading this review and you have other options to eat from, please do so. It’s just simply not worth the hassle. You will most likely wait an extended time period for your order, your order may be wrong, or it may just simply be missed.

normally, zaxby’s is great. good management and service, but I got my fries today and they had no seasoning AT ALL. i mean nothing, i always liked the fries because of the seasoning but nothing. the chicken was overly dry as well.

I didn’t complain the first time I had an order wrong. I should’ve complain the second time when they gave me one sauce for two family packs. I guess they expected us to ration the dipping. Now its the third time and they forgot the pickles on both my signature sandwiches. How? It’s one of the main parts of the sandwich?

Chicken is on the saltier side, but still the best around. Seasoned crinkle fries are #1 in town. Can’t go wrong with Texas toast or coleslaw either. The fried appetizers are way too salty, too greasy, and have too much breading, I wouldnt order them unless they were free.
