Love the atmosphere of this place! Very rustic feel. They have a wide variety of food to choose from and lots of yummy seafood. Although the food that came out were a bit too much on the salty side so that was a bummer. The staff were very attentive and made sure our orders were correct since we were a group of 12. Came here for dinner but I would assume coming here during the day would be awesome since it’s right along the water.

Terrible service, waitress blamed it on new food runners that took our appetizers to another table and they ate them. Seriously ? She brings out our food and leaves, we have no silverware to eat it. I stopped a completely different waitress to get some. She apologized multiple times but didn’t do anything to change it. Food was tasty, tables were available – no waiting so business must be dropping off as you used to have to wait for a table. Really bad customer service. Only plus is dogs could dine with owners out on the patio. Yep, dogs allowed.

A rustic and laid back vibe all around. The bar area is fantastic and never too crowded. We did have to wait a bit for our table but it was definitely worth it. The drinks were super delicious and the crab cakes are the best I have ever had. I recommend the crab cakes or the shrimp tacos. Great place for families.

Food is mediocre. Crabcake sandwich was burnt and had to send it back. When we got the new one it was much larger than the original one. Scallops were very spicy but cold. The orange crush was pretty good. Staff was extremely busy.

The Harbor (Seafood) Pasta was absolutely delectable! My mouth is still watering just thinking of it!! Great atmosphere. We enjoyed dining outside on the bay. Drinks were yummy too!

Establishment had a large Dining area, all the staff were friendly and polite. There was a good size parking lot in back of the restaurant and it was only a 15 minute wait for a table at 9 am which is very good. I love the seafood omelet which had juicy pieces of shrimp along with a crab cake cooked inside. The coconut banana pancakes tasted great as well. I was intrigued by the donuts at the front counter so I had to order some to go before I left. I will return on my next trip!

The crab omelette was awesome. A bite of delicious Maryland blue crab in every bite! I wasn’t expecting the sprinkle of Old Bay on top but it was a nice touch. The donuts there were great too. We tried the prune donut chain in O.C. but weren’t impressed. I don’t really care for the design your own donut places. Why not just make the donuts you’re good at? Baskin-Robbins only has 31 flavors, I’m sure they could go bigger too but who needs more than that?!??!

Cozy, low key family diner that serves fresh, tasty and hearty meals! We went there for breakfast and we’re impressed with the size of the portions!

This is a family friendly restaurant and we ordered breakfast. They have your typical breakfast dishes with a variety for everyone. Our family ordered the N’oreaster, waffles, french toast and scrambled eggs. We enjoyed our food, but they forgot our utensils and seemed like they may have been shorthanded. All in all, if you are looking for a decent tasy breakfast, this worked for us.

Amazing breakfast restaurant with fair prices. It’s been a staple in Ocean City for years and we make it a tradition to get breakfast there usually on our last day of the trip. You have to try the breakfast burrito!

All I can say is wow! A 5 star restaurant review is a high bar for me. Ropewalk executed everything flawlessly for both of my visits. Service was expedient from seating to ordering to delivery of food. The food and beverages are prepared to perfection. I highly recommend the NY strip steak which was cooked perfectly to med rare. The smoked wings are also some of the best wings I have ever had and fall off the bone. The ambiance and live music on the water is another benefit that I have not seen anywhere else in Chincoteague. Ropewalk has become my new favorite establishment in the area! This is also a great place to watch and take pictures of the sunset with the family as you eat dinner.

Great atmosphere. Outdoor seating. Open air restaurant and spacious indoor bar area. Great service! Wonderful adult beverages and fried pickles were excellent. Very big portions and nice breading with a good crunch! Will be back

Very nice place on the water with outdoor and open air indoor seating. Service was excellent. Like that they serve mini-pitchers of water. Enjoyed dining outside listening to the live music. The Seafood Cobb Salad and Crab Cake Sandwich were both very good.

Very nice beachfront restaurant. Unfortunately we could not enjoy the outdoor seating due to bad weather but I could imagine that it’s a nice area to chill out. That had great live music while we enjoyed our dinner. Restaurant was quiet busy so please call ahead to make a reservation.

This place is awesome. The handicap entrance takes you through the kitchen and from what we seen it was very clean. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The food was excellent. My wife had the crab dip burger and I had the Black and Blue burger and our daughter had chicken tenders. We shared crab dip and cheese bites and everything tasted fresh and delicious. The prices were average. But we felt that we got our monies worth between the staff, food and the experience of dining here. If your in the area, I would recommend you stop here!!

Very impressed! Stopped in for lunch. Best meal we had on the island! Soups, burgers, quesadilla and wrap. All delicious! Service was top notch too. Highly recommend and would definitely come back. A little expensive but worth it!

I loved the burger, fries and shrimp! Delicious, fresh food in a nice setting.
Service was great and the wait time was not too long.
It looks very small from outside but is more roomy once you get inside.
We will definitely visit Bill’s on our next Chincoteague trip!

This is a definite stop when you are on the island. Yes it is a little more pricey then other places but it is well worth it. The atmosphere is classy, great for a date or meal with friends. The menu is diverse and packed with flavor. My suggestion is to start with the stuffed mushrooms then either the Shrimp and Grits or Stuffed Flounder. The martinis are large and are around $12. Make a reservation, can fill up easily.

Authentic filling Crabs GALORE! Stumbled upon this hidden gem shortly after the New Year in the off season! This crab place was perfect for a football Sunday afternoon with friends. The snow king crab deal for 2 ended up being the best bang for the buck which included a soup 2 sides and huge clusters of snow king crab legs hush puppies and shrimp! I’d highly recommend the crab dip appetizer and the crab bisque was also delightful! If you want to leave full and happy check out Crab Alley!!!!!

We had Barrett as our waitress & she was fantastic! Even for a busier-than-usual afternoon with the boat show in town she was very attentive and kind. The food was great, the crab dip had plenty of backfin and the lemon crushes were phenomenal.

First time in the area and wanted to enjoy some fresh seafood, read good things about this location. For a Saturday evening we were attended to quickly. Great atmosphere, great service, the food was great but the crab legs were a bit too salty. We Ordered the snow feast for two and the portion size was big but could not eat more than one cluster.

The food was yummy, but the service was a bit slow. We waiting almost 20 minutes to get our check. Good thing we’re honest people. I’m sure someone with less integrity could’ve easily walked out without paying the check.

Good prices for the kids meals. Lastly, the crabs were a nice size. The first one was juicy, but the quality went down hill from there.

Decided to stop by here during our road trip, which was listed as pet friendly. Our waitress Laurie was so amazing, she was very attentive, and showed us the correct way to eat crabs since it was our first time.

We got the Combo feast for 2, was plenty of food for all. The kids loved the interaction of cracking and hammering the crabs using a small mallet.
I will definitely be back, if we are ever in the area.
