  1. Delicious! Food was ample and flavorful. No frills, oyster bar serving up Cajun and Creole staples. Man, I miss New Orleans, but this spot made me miss it a little less today. So many mouth-watering dishes and seafood, but unfortunately only one stomach. Service was great – super quick and friendly. Most staff I could see had a mask on in some capacity. Mostly bar seating throughout creates a family style environment, but I still felt like I had enough personal space. (Not social distancing space, but personal space) I’ll definitely be back and I also want to try the location in Clemmons.
P.S. When they say spicy, they mean spicy lol

  2. As a seafood fan, I’ve long been intrigued by Full Moon, but as someone who hates loud and crowded spaces, the setup (stools clustered around a large bar) kept me away. Figuring that 2:20 p.m. on a Friday would be as good a time as any to avoid a crowd, my wife and I finally bit the bullet and decided to give it a try. We were glad that we did.

While I wouldn’t relish the prospect of eating elbow-to-elbow with strangers when Full Moon is at capacity, it was decidedly not crowded when we rolled in for lunch. It offers a casual vibe, and the fast and friendly bartenders are great.

Though Full Moon’s menu boasts everything from grilled fish to heaping piles of steamed crab legs, I was on a quest to get one last sandwich in before going breadless for Passover. A half and half (oysters and shrimp) Po Boy seemed like a perfect fit. Fish and chips were available as a Friday lunch special, and my wife pounced on that. Both came with complimentary sides of slaw and potatoes, an unexpected but thoroughly welcome perk.

The food was, without qualification, phenomenal. If anyone is skeptical about finding a legitimate Po Boy this far inland, don’t be. The French bread was authentic, the shrimp were large, and both they and the oysters were a perfect golden brown. The fish was coated in a delicious crunchy beer batter, and the fries that accompanied both dishes were nicely salted. Even the free sides were a hit. The slaw was, mercifully, shredded rather than chopped to hell, and the roasted potatoes were addictively buttery.

Full Moon Oyster Bar made for one of the best lunch experiences I’ve had in some time, and I will almost certainly be back. The only question is whether or not I will try to wait for another off-hour to pay them a visit.

  3. We had the crab legs and grouper. The fish was flaky and the crab was cooked perfectly. The atmosphere is very laid back. Check the menu first to be aware of cost, it is a little pricey, but definitely worth it!

  4. Loud and full of good times! The barbecue oysters are like oysters heaven. Great atmosphere smelling like fresh cooked crab.

  5. Service was great. Food was good. Price was reasonable. People eat around a large wrap-around bar. The servers were some of the best I’ve had in a long time. The salmon salad had an great piece of grilled salmon but the ingredients of the salad were not mixed & the food took up the entire plate so you couldn’t mix it yourself. The Low Country Boil was above average. Nice place for a date!

Had not been here since before the pandemic. Forgot how good it was. Had a bunch of people to feed so got multiple fried oysters, a baby flounder and a couple catfish. We put them all out and had them family style. They were all good but the oysters were enormous and tasty and the winner. The hush puppies that look like onion rings weren’t great but probably don’t travel well. Separate takeout entrance is something thing every restaurant should have and they are quick, efficient and the phone rings constantly. They included a huge sack of butter, sour cream, cocktail and tartar sauce. The tartar sauce is probably homemade and is excellent. The slaw got good reviews from all that had it but I did not.

Broiled shrimp scampi was watery and slightly undercooked with zero flavor. The chicken that came with it tasted great, and the house salad with ranch was great. Just a big key down on the scampi. Won’t go back unless it’s a family gathering like this was. Husbands shrimp was the same (broiled popcorn shrimp) and there was an $$ upcharge for his oysters which was not indicated on the menu. Sadly, zero stars is not an option.

Best fried seafood in the triad. If you haven’t tried it you are surely missing out on some amazing food and even better service

The carry out service was good, but the food was hugely disappointing. I can live with the soggy shrimp. That happens when you close hot fried foods up in a styrofoam container. I cannot overlook the grit. I can only assume the shrimp was not adequately cleaned. There is nothing like biting down on grit to ruin your appetite. I ate the potato and trashed 95% of the shrimp. I have no plans to return.

Called in my order as Ian approached us. Was told 20 min and it only took 15 min when our food was ready. The staff there is always amazing even in the chaos. The food was really good. Love their slaw..Thanks so much for being awesome everytime we eat there. Definitely recommend Sanibel’s.

Horrible customer service. We ordered a togo on the phone when we got there in less than 15 mins they had already made the food and it got soggy. My husband was mad so he wanted to eat inside. Worst decision ever because the waitress put our food on the table and started serving other customers without giving us any condiments or anything.
We decided to not go back and haven’t gone there ever since.

I ordered the surf n turf grilled chicken meal that comes with grilled chicken, hush puppies & I ordered rice pilaf as my side.

The chicken was very, very dried out & hard. I couldn’t eat it.

We ordered takeout close to closing time so I did not take it back.

Note to self & others: Don’t order close to closing time. The worst!

The other good we ordered was fried fresh. I guess the chicken had been sitting a while🤷🏾

The service was excellent. Our server was always coming to the table to check on us and our drinks were never empty. The food was absolutely delicious and the presentation was amazing. The food looked and smelled so good I forgot to take a picture of the main course. This was our first time and we stopped because we happened to be driving by. It did not disappoint. I highly recommend it.

We ordered our food to go and unfortunately did not check it at the restaurant (which was out fault). But for starters they left one thing off my order but I didn’t stress that since I wasn’t charged for it. Next the packaging of my food was Horrible!!!! Everything was thrown in one container and mixed all together. There was no separation, it looked like my chicken was swimming in soup. I’ve never had this dish before so maybe this is normal but it did not look appetizing at all! However I still tried it since it was paid for. The chicken was actually good and for that I gave the 2stars but overall I was kinda disappointed. Maybe next time if we decide to go back we will eat in and hopefully have a better experience

The stuffed flounder is very delicious along with the pumpkin cheesecake 🤤
Complimentary bread during the wait was unbelievably soft to the taste
The bar has a good drink selections and the staff dedicated good measure attending to the customer’s values.
Very clean, well-mannered and ideally the spot to drop by after work. 😊

No issues was very slow the time I went. The service and food was excellent. I did not have a steak I has the BBQ Shrimp and grits it was very tasty. I would recommend a bit pricy but considering the cost of food today I get it.

Service was very slow, seated at 7 got the check 9. The calamari was good, but the ribeye was not very good. It was cooked to the correct temp but had no sear and lacked seasoning. For the price point and type of restaurant they are trying to represent you are better off trying chop house or Ruth’s Chris, would not recommend.

Steak Street is amazing!! From the team that helped us coordinate our company Christmas party, to the servers, to the food, everything was 5 star! Both Chris and Steve were very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Katelyn and Krysta provided amazing customer service and made sure we wanted for nothing. We highly recommend Steak Street for an amazing dining experience!
