This review is about the campus of Penn, not the academics or admissions. The campus is located in the heart of Philadelphia, University City in West Philly to be precise. Even though it is an urban campus, most of what students need are within the boundaries of the campus or within a block or two. The architecture is Late Gothic Revival, Tudor Revival, and Romanesque. The campus is mostly safe but it is a city so best to stay aware. Locust Walk is the main thoroughfare throughout the heart of the campus and there one will find campus buildings, fraternities and sororities, sculpture, dining halls, and plenty of spots to stop and relax. There are always students, faculty, staff, and visitors moving about. Parking is not easy in the area but you may get lucky with a 2/3 hr spot just make sure you pay the meter! Tickets are issued within moments of violation so driver beware!

Real nice college and huge dorm building. Rooms aren’t giant but a lot of lounges, nice cafeteria, clean bathrooms and everyone was wearing masks

The staff in the ER and on the admitted floor is OUTSTANDING. I was treated very kindly. As soon as I arrived, I spoke to the intake and admittedly was taken back to see the Nurse Doctors ext.. Unfortunately I was consider an ER case.(extreme chest and back pains, high fever and difficulties.it wasn’t covid19)

Incredible building, it truly looks like a gothic cathedral, that’s why they call it the Cathedral haha, the Nationality Classrooms are also an admirable idea. Walking in the main study hall leaves an impression you will never forget.

    Schools back in!
All the kids are following rules and social
Distancing wearing masks. The restaurants were booming but in a good way. Everyone seems to be having a happy time.

I went to college here, and honestly best school ever! I have a BA in Communication, and I’m returning this year to get a Master of Health Administration. Everything is good, such as food, exercise facilities, professors, and social events. Pitt also helps you get an internship with their internship-guarantee program. If you go to Pitt you definitely need to do that! I did three internships and one research fellowships during college. The school is nationally ranked, always a top 100 university on US World News and Report (I think Pitt is #66 this year). School of Public Health (which I’m going to attend) is a top 20 public health school.

One of the finest University Campuses I have ever been too. I graduated in 1985 and did not appreciate the beauty of the buildings and grounds until years later.

Visited The Penn State University, State College, Pennsylvania. My son was selected for Masters studies in this great university. This is a research oriented major public university founded in 1855, having many campuses and facilities throughout Pennsylvania.

Grew up in State College, graduated with a B.S. in Health and Human Development, and now working for the Smeal College of Business. Ecstatic about this next phase of my life. Thanks PSU!

One of the best universities in the United States. Excelent campus and faculty. The town is also a nice place for friends and parents to visit.

Great place if you want to do research in gravity: I’m a graduate student in the gravity group and believe that it was a great choice to come here. Beside the excellent research, State College is a nice town (maybe a bit small) and has almost everything one can wish for – due to its size everything is also nearby. The Penn State Campus is really pretty and sometimes I just go to the Aboretum to think about my research.

IUP is a public University often called by its nick name Crimson Hawks. IUP is spread across 350 acres in Indiana town. Identified by Crimson and slate colors, thus university is a wonderful place to study. Established in 1875, IUP is a very famous Teacher Training University. The lush green campus is amazing and well organised. Well connected through free bus service inside and outside the campus. Whole staff is awesome. The university is very well managed and has a powerful network of Alumni. IUP is ever progressive and many major grants sanctioned to various departments. The university offers a good diversity and hosts students and scholars from many countries.👍👍

I spent time there in my mid to late teens, visiting my cousin who was a student. He has since passed away. It was a very nostalgic ride through town and visit to Fisher Hall with my granddaughter as she continues to pass on the family love for music.

This is my alma mater. We graduated in 1978. There have been many changes. Foster dining hall is gone. 🙁 But they opened up Breezewood and made Whitmire into the honors college.

Attended IUP for my bachelor’s in education. It was a fantastic program and I could not have asked for better professors. The dorms are great, the campus is beautiful, and the town of Indiana is a beautiful small town.

We went for a campus tour today and absolutely fell in love with the campus. We are from the Pittsburgh area and I never expected the campus to be as big and charming as it is. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and the student:teacher ratio (14:1) with an average class size of 28 was a major bonus. The dorms are 2 bed frames with a desk and closet for each roommate with 2 drawers under the bed as well. They’re spacious and clean. They have an amazing 4 floor workout building with every piece of equipment you could ever need! It truly is a hidden gem right in the downtown area. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city but still close enough to enjoy downtown amenities. I don’t see how any other college could top this!!

Nice campus full of activity and students. It is on a hill so be prepared because it’s a lot of uphill travel. Don’t worry you will get used to it and it is great exercise if you’re going to be there. Close to downtown and Oakland social activities. Bus travel is great to go both places.

A well known midsized eastern university. Good mix of commuter students and full time students living on campus. Known for programs in pharmacy. education, and music. Good mix of students from all ethnic/economic backgrounds. Although a Catholic University religion is not overly stressed.

Parking is available. The buildings are nice but drab. The view towards the river is beautiful. Very nice location to visit if you are interested in their programs. Good
