Columbia University is has the most prettiest campus within the city. The architecture is stunning and the massive windows are visually pleasing. I love walking through the campus and spending time at the bookstore.By Jullian Phipps (3 months ago)It’s a private Ivy league university in NYC. It’s one of the best in the world. However, I think the campus is not too big and not that beautiful. You can access to campus buildings unless you are student or staff.By Aung Myo Htut (4 months ago)Columbia University located in the City of New York,it is a private Ivy League research university.Columbia is ranked among the top universities in the world.we have attended 2022 University Commencement, it was very impressive! Congratulations to all graduates!!By Lily Bloodworth (7 months ago)Incredible learning institution and campus. Feel very safe and at home while on campus. Beautiful buildings and architecture.By Bryan Dusza (3 months ago)I am a student at Columbia University, specifically with GSAPP. The main campus is a beautiful campus during the summer. It is constructed so that all the buildings provide a “wall” around the campus so that the interior is quiet and separate from the city. The landscaping is always up kept. You see students gathered in green spaces or along the library stairs each day. There are some current construction projects, but they are minor and don’t take away from the Columbia experience. The interior of campus is safe and always monitored by gatekeepers and campus security. As soon as you step off campus it is no longer securities jurisdiction so there are fairly often robberies around the area. Columbias campus alert system does a good job of keeping students up to date on these events. The surroundings of campus include many restaurants, stores, and grocery stores that are very convenient for students and surrounding people. Overall I have always felt safe in the area and love the beauty of the campus.By Wes Kinsey (5 months ago)

Beautiful architecture old style building.
Water fountain was so beautiful.
Went there to check out Nyu for my daughter
She loves that University.🤞By Chaturbhuj bhojwani (a year ago)My twins and I took the tour. Our guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. I would suggest less talk of what is there and more showing of what is there. It would’ve been nice to see a lecture hall/seminar room, something that could indicate what my childrens learning environment may be like. Also, the constant iteration that the campus is safe indicated the opposite. Prime example of that is, someone was stabbed shortly after our tour and the news also showed that in the past month there has been multiple break ins in the freshman dorm by homeless people. Doesn’t seem safe to me.By Lizzett Rice (3 weeks ago)It’s a great institution, but their alumni are often saddled with massive debt. But hey, it’s an awesome school. If you have money, it’s definitely worth it to live in NYC, party, and go to school. Their programs are top-notch.By Alex Kolkena (a year ago)Got my Master in Public Administration from Wagner Graduate School of Public Affairs in 1985.
Not an ounce of financial aid – It was my one-hundred percent self-paid onus. Even with full-time work for the duration of full-time study, it was easier than where my Bachelor of Arts was from: Binghamton. Long story short, the Public and nonprofits sector didn’t want me; but, made some successes in the Corporate world in Banking, Insurance, followed by Investment Brokerage.
My point ? Be adaptable for all your endeavors, and a Master’s degree allowed me to enter, and to succeed in, fields for which I had no experience ! Life is what you make it, folks.By Lawrence Weinzimer (2 months ago)I searched and acquired a lot more info about this place … Its a good place to go and study if you think about going ahead with your education… U should plan for your future knowledge guys…. #have ….By Saint Quinn (2 months ago)

Since people are looking for value, its harder to get in recent years.By Dominick Withanachchi (2 months ago)I am glad I transferred from IUPUI campus to CUNY. I will graduate debt free . Love the QC CUNY campus along with free QC Red/CUNY black shuttle bus for students that has certain pick and drop off points . Simply fantastic to be on beautiful QC CUNY campus, along with CUNY/ QC red-black shuttle bus 🚌. I love riding it everyday from Jamaica/ surfing Blvd to CUNY campus classes . Thanks😃🇺🇸.By RumaDhakaCityGirl USA (2 months ago)Give 1 because I cannot give less, but after what we went through with pandemic, not all staff came back to the offices and the students they have to talk with staffs or any department just by phone or zoom. It s very uncomfortable. Most of freshman they are paying, but are not follow, and this is awful, for them and for the parents too. Ko queens college. Tell me thanks to pay you for freeBy mary cucinella (2 months ago)I love this campus and nice professor!!By Kimberly Nguyen (4 months ago)Nice campus. Great professors. Convenient location. Now I assure you I am not one to write reviews but City College has been asking for this one. During orientation it was very chaotic (which was to be expected) what was not to be expected was waiting outside for 20 minutes because there was a group inside a classroom my group was supposed to be in. The whole “tour” was rushed and I feel it would have been better to separate people by majors and the undecided people can also tour most of the buildings. Then you get a MILLION emails from everyone and their mother at your college email. I get emails from outsiders that I’ve never even heard of. Another thing to comment on orientation was the guide in my group, as pretty as she was she was rushing in and out walking at 25 mph, she didn’t even stop for a minute to make sure the whole group was together and fine. Then the buses they offer to pick students up from the train station to campus and back, mind you there are only two buses and they are really small fitting around 30 students at most. They don’t even have a schedule for students to know what times the bus will be there.
Lastly and recently how can you possibly offer puppy therapy, and get this WITH A MAX CAPACITY OF 80 PEOPLE. There are thousands of students on campus and they don’t even offer a couple hundred. See, when I fail my finals I’ll send my professors a screenshot of how a ticket to get in and pet the puppies were “sold out.” Although I will say the views are beautiful too bad I have to catch my breathe after walking 5 blocks from the train station and up a hill.By Blake R (a week ago)If you want world class education go for City college. They provide you all benefits that fit for you.By Sanjay Kumar (3 weeks ago)Admission office assistant is really friendly, she gave me great tips and helped me a lot .By Farzana Momtaz (11 months ago)The original City College of New York was founded as the fist pvblic institution in the United States. At one time it was known as Harvard of the poor. Its castle like Neo Goth style makes you feel like in a Harry Poter flick. Sit on the laws and enjoy the birds. All the roads within the college are open to the pvblic and the views are great!!!By Walter Thompson (a year ago)Do not take Lorelle Pickett for experimental I wish I could post the syllabus but she’s insane, she wants us to do a proposal paper (which is no issue) my thing is why does it have to be 15 citations? Like why??? Don’t take her this is the final paper and if you do bad on this your entire grade messes up.By Spam Van (4 months ago)

*Just a review of the physical location/campus.*
A huge, rambling, campus. Twisting and turning, both horizontally and vertically!
I had a positive and helpful exchange with a security guard in the visitor’s center–she helped direct me to the 110 69th street location (which is beautiful–though covered in scaffolding! Let’s hope for a lovely reveal in 2022).By Li S (11 months ago)Great education, great faculty. Horrible administration. My most recent visit to the college after I graduated, I want to keep in touch with my professor, and the visitor center refused to issue me a guest pass, even though I showed my ID. Their reason: As a former student, you must be “invited” to gain access to the campus. Seriously? A random people can just show up with a ID and enter the building, while a former student/alumni have to go through so much hassle to just visit a professor, not occupying resources… What about getting an Alumni ID Card? Good luck with that, regardless the fact it is 2022, they are still not at their FULL CAPACITY. For real?? What’s the excuse? Covid?
Hunter really is a prime example of capitalist, kicking out their students as soon as they no longer pay the tuition, and cutting off low-profit business like Alumni Relation. Also if you have unfinished business with Hunter’s inefficient office like Financial Aid, Bursar or Registrar, that’s surely a way for them to keep all the “hassles” out. Nicely done.By Zheng (3 months ago)Let’s go, let’s go. I’ve known many graduates from Hunter college it is an excellent college. However, I am not writing from that aspect. My Church, Calvary Baptist church has rented space at Hunter until our church located on 57th street gets a makeover. Thus, we meet at Hunter every Sunday for church services. I must say I’ve met some wonderful staff, be it security or maintenance. God bless Hunter College.By Sylvester Sharp (2 months ago)DO NOT I repeat DO NOT attend Hunter College if you are someone who receives financial aid. Not only is the financial aid office extremely inefficient: they have bad attitudes, move slow and won’t aid you in any way. The only reason Hunter gets two stars is because the teachers and people who attend are really nice and genuine people.By Janae Ogarro (4 months ago)Hunter College is a vital source of education in the heart of the city. This institution does excellent work providing a high-quality education for an outstanding number of both graduates and undergraduates students every year. I am extremely grateful for the educational opportunities I experienced here.By Nate Hopkins (2 years ago)
