Of all the schools we’re looking at, this has been one of the best so far! The campus is beautiful and lively. She was very happy with the destination LSU event today! Excellent safety is exhibited all around campus. This university is extremely careless when it comes to their students. I had a legitimate reason not to park in my designated parking spot and I received a ticket and tried to appeal for it. They declined it when I physically could not walk that far to class and I still have to pay the $50 fine. What differentiates Southeastern from other universities is the level of care and assistance faculty and staff provide to the students.By Shannon Sciortino (11 months ago)Southeastern is the worst university ever. I am currently attending the university, and they use Pearson to take exams, which even though you get the answer correct but on Pearson you put a . Symbol instead of a , you will not receive credit no matter what, even if you have the correct answer written down. Some professors will make it where, even if you have a B or higher in the class it doesn’t matter if you don’t pass the last test they will fail you and the previous quizzes and exams will be turn to F’s. Also, the math lab where you take test, they have a device that makes loud banging noises while your taking test, it is use to gather data for the psychology department without your consent. Please do not take this as a one time bad experience, this happens to a large chunk of southeastern students. This place is like home. One of the best places away from home to say the least. The place to grow and learn and even learn more about our community it is beautiful right by Oxford place which is even a plus plus it’s besides food places and everything you need on your way home from along day of learning and knowledge.
