OU’s improvements to campus since I attended 20 years ago are truly impressive. The programs are well thought out and designed to put you in position to succeed. I wish I had time to go back and be a student all over again to take advantage of all this!By Glenn Lautzenhiser (8 months ago)Explored Norman & Oklahoma University after attending the Women’s College World Series! Each year OSU Hosts Special Olympics. They are so much more than just sports! We love coming and spending 3 days here. Stillwater is a nice town and OSU is the very BestBy Pamela Ward (7 months ago)Forever timeless, nothing quite like Oklahoma State University.By Ash Corona Westmuckett (2 months ago)It’s a great University. Been here for two years and it never ceases to surprise me. A wonderful world away from the rest. Best place for students to hone their skills and learn new ones. For me it’s personal you should be here in person to feel the energy of this little university town. You wouldn’t believe how happening this place is. Welcome to Oklahoma State University. #gopokes.By Sai Vamsi Krishna Vissa (a year ago)This is a great university my sister is a sophomore here. Harrassed about enrolling.
The moans (literally) of admins as I made attempts at applying, enrolling, and doing more than being isolated and manipulated out of appropriate academia pursuits = concerning.
A lady from the inclusion office walked me to the office that WOULD have supported me, should I have been able to become a student.
Still concerned about the gestures and very passive subtleties of discriminants.
Said I could use their library.
By Mia Starks (3 months ago)College charges kids $700 a semester to park a car in their parking lot even one day a week. There are people that can afford this many cannot. This is an unfair burden that is being placed on UCO families.
Our child has to walk nearly a mile to find a place to park their car at school off campus after they drive 40 miles to get there. Now we are constantly worried about what’s going to happen when they have to walk to their car late at night.
Edmond as a city is not near as safe as it used to be. The UCO parking lot fee structure is exorbitant and unnecessary and this parking for profit will ultimately bring harm on those that cannot afford to pay UCOs sky high poor tax.By SilverJ (a month ago)University of Central Oklahoma is a great school with a beautiful campus! The staff are great and the faculty knowledgeable. I highly recommend!By Maureen Moore (a year ago)Just your average state university. Prices keep going up but honestly, it’s a better deal than any of the other colleges that are local. I know that their Teacher’s program and Forensics are great. Otherwise, don’t expect much and you won’t be disappointed! 🙂By Kitchen Counter Crafts (7 months ago)The people I met that are affiliated with UCO were respectful and easy to get along with. The field is really nice.By Duane Williams (3 months ago)

Had a chance to do the defensive driving training and it was awesome!!! Dennis was our classroom instructor and Jennifer was my driving coach, super helpful and extremely patient. I had a blast at the same time learned some better driving habits. I would highly recommend everyone to try this at least once. It’s suitable for all drivers from novice to experienced. You won’t be disappointed!!!By Mistah Logo (8 months ago)So much larger than when I was a student in the early 90s , embarking on a career change. Still looking for someone that does what I used to do. Flower beds, weed, General garden care. Hopefully someone will enjoy this work . I did for twenty years. I’m older now and can’t keep up.By Hazel Knowles (3 months ago)I was here for 1 year from 2016 to 2017. I also worked here as a work study student too. I enjoyed this campus and brings me back memories when I think about it. The classes are easy and it’s mostly 2 year associate degree that they offer. Even though it says it’s a university it’s really not it’s a 2 year community College. It used to be a technical school back then and they just changed the name to university. They do have bachelor’s degree classes for Registered Nurse R/N and stuffs like that. Their main campus in Stillwater is an actual university. If you are nervous and don’t think you can’t make it, try this school or any other community colleges for 2 years and see if you wanna go to a university later on. The only class that was hard for me was the English composition 1 class. I think my teacher was Sarah Mcelyea. She is a tough grader. Other than that I like this school and would recommend people to come here.By Shone Joseph (8 months ago)An excellent comedy club. A horrible educational institution.
– They enrolled me in a major that was being terminated the next semester.
– they charged me $1000 even though I was on financial aid
– staff yelled at me when I tried to clarify why I was charged $1000 when I was on aid, had to report them to Federal Aid to get my student aid.
– was harassed for being white by classmates whiter than me (I’m half white half middle eastern)
– paid for a class that all the lectures were Literally links to YouTube videos. (Lazy proffessors, also educational malpractice.)
Do Not Go Here. You will get a better education on youtube for free.
By Kat3piva (8 months ago)*Had a problem with financial aid, a student at the window made the problem worse.
*had switched degrees so Venetia was no longer my counselor but in my frustration, that’s who I called
*was ready to pull out of school and go to a community college closer to my houseDuring my call with Venetia, she addressed all my issues then followed up making sure any promises made during the enrollment process were fulfilled. Venetia made me feel like I was in a place where the staff care about each student’s success and are willing to help.
President is great carrying person who also was happy to greet me and extend his support in any problems that may arise. I love my new school and the staff car about my success.
