The atmosphere was great! The food was good! The views were phenomenal! Recommend stopping by if only to have a beer and look out over the water. The staff were friendly and responsive. They have a good amount of draft beers. The menu has pretty much anything you’d want.

We had three dishes.

The Tuna was fantastic. Everything about it and I would recommend it fully.

The 4oz of Halibut and 4oz of Salmon meal was more of a tourist trap menu item that they want you to buy but offers them the most profit. This dish was average at best and we were not very impressed.

The appetizer was great and would also recommend that.

Best restaurant in town. Great local beer. We stayed for a week and came to The Hangar for four times. Crab and prawn angel hair is our favorite. Salmon spread is so fresh. Love the halibut and chips. Best oysters in town.

We had a great time eating at Hangar On The Wharf. I orders the Alaskan Spot Prawn Angel Hair (Local spot prawns with artichoke and sun-dried tomatoes on a bed of angel hair in pesto sauce). The food is delicious and waitress is very friendly. Love the view of Downtown Juneau from the resto. I even got a free mud pie dessert for my birthday 🙂

We have eaten here multiple times in the past month and have multiple different amazing experiences. The halibut is just amazing, best, in my opinion, as fish and chips. If you want a burger or fish, this is the place! The view is just as good as the food.

I like fish and chips almost as much as I like tacos. The Sandbar has some of the best fish and chips I have had. I got the medium size and I was full, but we loved them so much, we got an extra order to split between us. They were so good, I forgot to take a picture of my basket before I finished!

I can only say THE BEST FISH & CHIPS ever!!! By far their halibut fish &chips beat the best ones I had before!
We tried the grilled halibut sandwich was like nothing we had before! So good!
The staff especially Marvel was soooo nice and fun! We had the best time there. Extremely recommend it! Do not miss out!

Great atmosphete!! Freindly staff and GREAT fish and chips!!! The halibut was cooked to perfection. The fish was so fresh it must have jumped out of the boat and into the frying pan!! Absolutely delicious 😋, Can’t wait to go back!!

It was for sure the beat Halibut I had ever had after trying many places in Seattle and Alaska. The place is not luxury but so cozy, friendly, and warm with fabulous people and employees. We were a group of four and all of us believed their fish and chips is the best most freshest one we have ever had. It worths just a travel to come and have the food here. Do not miss it!!!!!

Definitely have the fish and chips. The fish was fresh, tender, delicious, and the batter was crispy and light. The fries were average. Staff were very attentive checking in on us frequently. It’s a bare-bones decor kinda place h the sticks of mismatched furniture left a little to be desired, but the overall experience was still good for a good price.

Always good service and great food! Order the wings with sauce on the side and you will have the most crispy delicious wings ever! The steak sandwich is a must try. Most delicious thing ive had with steak!

The food was okay. It’s kind of hit or miss here. Sometimes the food is absolutely wonderful and sometimes the food is mediocre at best. On this particular day it was me and for friends and for the winter season it was kind of busy. All the tables had someone sitting at them in the bar was full. Our food was hot and not too bad. The atmosphere was friendly and open. The menu selection is good.

The chicken Caesar salad was my favorite. I had heard that the nachos were the best, but we had 3 orders of nachos in our group of 10 people and no one was terribly impressed with them, but the Reubens, Caesar salads, and pretzels were all good. At our table, we also had a couple burgers and a pizza, which looked good, but I didn’t try any of them. Our server was attentive and there weren’t many people in the restaurant, probably because it’s located inside the Four Points Sheraton by the marina.

We were at the restaurant with a group of 10 people. The service was extremely slow and the waitress was not very friendly. The food came, except for 1 meal. It finally came when everyone else was already done. Due to being a group more than 8 they automatically added 18% gratuity. Forget about being a valued customer! They charge you 18% grats regardless of the service.
The „excuse“ (absolutely everywhere in Alaska this year!!!!) is the shortage of staff. It is ridiculous! Stay away! Way overpriced wherever you go in Alaska with a terrible service! I am a tour guide and come up here since 20 years.

The environment is super nice! Friendly employees. Best your going to get in Juneau, Ak. Price is terribly expensive (@$20+/plate) but with it being maybe 1 out of 2 Chinese restaurants here in town, So You can’t really complain too much. I’ll give it a 4. See you next time AK!

We’ve all had disappointing tuna rolls that are mostly stuffed rice …largest portion of tuna in the roll I have ever seen. This was the best general tsos chicken ever. The portion size is huge. Excellent service …what a treat on last day of Alaska trip !

After dining here a couple of times, I have come to the conclusion that it is my favorite Indian food in all of Juneau. (Honestly, best I’ve had anywhere) The owner is super nice and added her own spin to popular dishes. If you ask for hot, it will be hot, so if you are white, be careful! The chicken tika is so tender that you can tell the chicken receives special treatments in the back when nobody is looking. Possibly a 24-hour marinate, or who knows, maybe it’s been wined and dined before lights out. I would write more, but you all are hungry and found where you need to go, so get to spice… You will thank me later.

Amazing food! We went at lunch and had the pleasure of meeting the owner. She was an electrical engineer and changed careers to open her own restaurant and share her grandmother’s authentic Indian recipes. The dishes are phenomenal, authentic Indian food that you won’t find anywhere else, and the portions were plentiful. Unfortunately, I didn’t take a photo until we had ravaged everything, but got one nonetheless. Highly recommend!

Definitely check out this place when you’re in Juneau! One of the best restaurants in the area. Sometimes they even have live music. It would be a perfect spot for date night. Great service and even better food!

Service was so friendly and attentive! I can’t stress that enough. I recommend calling ahead for a reservation, small space with limited,intimate tables. Large portions so filling and delicious. We got Palak Paneer wish there was a bit more paneer but so yummy and Chicken Tikka was some of the best I’ve had- we paired our meal with garlic naan and mint chutney. They were short people in the kitchen and wait time was a little long but that’s to be expected these days with staffing but the service again, and food absolutely made up for it! So glad to have this place in town
