This is our favorite see food restaurant in Jax. Even though most of the time there are long lines to order food, the place totally worth it. Prices are reasonable and the food is amazing. The banging shrimps are one of my favorites and the hush puppies are delightful. The staff were very knowledge of the menu and gave great recommendations for first-timers! I had the basket with 3 items (grilled shrimp, scallops and blackened trigger fish). The food was fresh and cooked perfectly. The flavors balanced each other very well! The service staff were helpful, friendly and created a great dining experience for us! All of the workers are friendly, the service is incredibly efficient with the volume of customers that are coming through, everything is clearly cooked to order, the portion sizes are HUGE, the prices are reasonable… all around awesome! Very busy place but don’t worry you are getting in the line and in the door. The line goes along fast. Not much of a wait even on a Friday night. There is a lot of seating so you will be able to sit. You order and pick up you drink or beer on the way to the table and look at the view of all the docked boats and a view of the harbor.
Our meals were super greasy and tasty. I will be back as soon as I can.

It’s a wait in line and then order to sit type of place. The lines can be long so plan on that but it went fast enough. We sat inside which was perfect on a hot day. Was super crowded but the staff were very friendly and always working hard to clean and get out food as quickly as possible. Our group favorites include the blackened fish tacos and the dockside combo 3 way catch (shrimp, clams, and scallops.) Everything was cooked to perfection and tasty. Worth the wait !!! Food was good, sauce can be improved since other similar restaurants make it thicker! Here sauce was a bit watery anyway we enjoyed it.
We tried shrimps bag limon and paper and mix sauce both were good.
We also had hush puppies and rice which was good too.
Atmosphere was really good but you need to wait even then restaurant is not full of people but I think they need to hair more workers.

We met friends here post Thanksgiving. Not only was the atmosphere inviting, but the food was delicious!
We had 2 13-year olds with us and while they were not as adventurous, they loved their meals as well!

We came in for our wedding anniversary. Staff went out of their way to seat us at a table next to the window so we could have a view. Our waiter was more than sweet and attentive. All staff had such good vibes.
The grilled oyster were absolutely delicious we ordered two orders of them. The octopus salad was very tasty. The caramel cheesecake was delicious. We had such a great experience and tasty food here we sure will return soon.

Our serve Ms. Millie was an absolute delight who took wonderful care of us & her nearby tables, she clearly understood the menu & went to great lengths helping a table near us with allergen/diet concerns. Her recommendations on sauces & how to reheat leftovers did not disappoint either! The food itself was fresh, delicious, & came out in a timely manner. We made reservations for 6:30 and dined in the downstairs part of the restaurant. The restaurant is always packed due to the quality of the food and atmosphere. It is a bit noisy when the restaurant is busy and it can get a bit overwhelming when you are trying to relax with a good meal and conversation. For an appetizer my wife ordered the fried green tomatoes and I the shrimp cocktail. For our entrees she ordered the grilled shrimp with grits and I the broiled seafood platter which has cod, shrimp, scallops, zucchini, squash and potatoes in a white wine sauce. I decided not to get the scallops and just got extra shrimp. The food was excellent like always and the waiter was very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. We have been coming here for years and have always enjoyed it and the food has always been great. I loved the Low Boil it was probably the best dish I’ve had here. The fried dishes here never miss! The waiters are super awesome and very attentive to our table! However, my brother did not enjoy his Spicy Seafood Linguini (he ordered it without the spicy part so I think that’s why). I did not like the margarita I ordered because it was very watered down. (Just don’t go right before closing like we did once with the kids) otherwise everything is amazing. We love their fish dip + the fried oysters.
