This place has been around for a while. The fish was fresh. Shrimp and crab were also good. The sides – the potatoes, were bland and way too buttery. This place is a classic but not something I can rave about. Service is average. Drinks are average. It’s a staple in history but aside from the actual seafood, everything else isn’t all that. However, it pays to have some drone fish with some nice outside view of the water.

I can say the garlic crab here is so so good! Must try if you are in the area. We tried lunch combo crab (forget the name) but they should know what it is if you want to order. They only have one lunch combo crab in the menu. It was good! We tried grilled blackened mahi2 wasn’t really good and prefer the fried seafood platter. The fried scallops was good. They also have some weekday special that you should check it out. The restaurant itself is unique has a bit of older vibes. They have bar sections but we sat outdoor, was the best decision. We saw some boat come in and out the small river from the sea I guess. And you can actually park your boat to eat there.

This unique place has been here as long as I can remember!
Great place for family’s, dates and everything in between!
Situated nicely with water views.
Seating outside and also inside.
Very busy.
Don’t be fooled this place is not cheap!

We had the king crab legs , very fresh and delicious.

Only downside is we had to look for any wait staff, ask for everything and wait , wait and wait !
For the prices they change, should be receiving better service!

We all had a great celebration dinner last night at The Rustic Inn. It was our sons choice to celebrate here. I had my second date with my husband 26 years ago here and we celebrated our son’s graduation here with friends and last night we were celebrating our son’s marriage to his sweet girlfriend. We had a great dinner and a great time. We had a wonderful server I believe his name was Dave . It can be a little pricey but if you like crab and banging hammers on the table you will love this iconic restaurant!

Huge portions of seafood of all varieties with friendly staff and lots of ambiance. Place is loud and cheerful! My lobster roll was overflowing with lobster and my partners combo plate was just heaped with fresh seafood. A great find and decently priced.

Been to Fort Lauderdale twice – been here twice. Would come back again. At first blush, it seems like it would be a tourist trap with over priced, average seafood, watered down drinks and quick to rush service. Nothing could be further from the truth. Good food. Good drinks. Good service (wait staff is much nicer than the front of house, so don’t get turned off, too soon). And oh yeah….a ridiculous view. Three of us shared two appetizers. We each had two drinks. And everyone had an entree. The bill was less than $280 with tip. Free valet is a pleasant surprise.

Loved this restaurant. The seafood was exceptional and I’m so glad we decided to try this place. The Scoobies were a big hit as were the grilled oysters. We tried the coconut cheesecake and peanut butter pie that were both delicious. Service deserves 7 stars as they were so attentive and quick to respond.

Nice place, nice selection of good wines at decent prices, very friendly staff, great cocktails too. Had the grilled octopus and, judging by it and other reviews, all else is likely really good too. I would just add live music, but then you probably couldn’t get a table. 😉. Definitely worth coming back. Great views of intracoastal. Everyone looks happy and having a great time, even kids. Good stuff…

– Food: I wish they had more food options, I felt the manu was very simple and with limited food options. However, what we ordered tasted good, prices were average and size was big.
– Service: everyone was nice and Service was quick
– Atmosphere: I recommend sitting outside so you can enjoy the view. I did feel maybe some music would have been nice.

great spot right on the waterfront it’s classic. they have for a wide menu with daily specials mainly fish and apparently they are famous for their crab cakes. I ordered the crab cake sandwich and it was a bit fishy but overall 8 out of 10. french fries were great mac and cheese was great. but really it’s the setting Waterfront Mega yachts Cool Breeze fans and misters all contribute to an awesome lunch. great for clients and dates alike. recommended

Excellent service. Awesome foods. Space between tables are good. The steak I got was good but was just not as juicy as I thought it’d be. The steak did lack flavor but it was accurately cooked to what you wanted. The steak was medium rare but lacking in flavor and juiciness was just mediocre. The salads was a bit underwhelming but it’s salad 🤷🏻. The tables are clean and tidy. The entire restaurant is lovely and the employees are always willing to help. The waiters/waitresses make great suggestions and are super helpful. We constantly got our drinks filled and got our plates taken away on a super timely manner. It also didn’t take too long to get our foods as well. It is on the more expensive side for cost but the amazing employees definitely makes the experience worth trying.

This restaurant was right next to our hotel with a good menu and reviews, so we decided to give it a try.

The setting, both inside and outside, was well appointed and welcoming. Our waitress was helpful with our order.

For appetizers, we liked the Bimini bread and Tuna tacos, though the tacos were very tiny for the price ($20). The Brussels sprouts were too salty and not edible so I sent it back.

The Grilled Scottish salmon salad was delicious and we loved all the veggies in the salad.

Overall a nice dinner.

Our waitress was so nice and friendly! I’m so upset I don’t remember her name (blonde hair in a low ponytail)I came with my best friend. She treated me! the salad was so yummy! I tried grilled octopus for the first time it was good as well! Basically everything was cooked to perfection! The ambiance was beautiful/peaceful as well! Came on a Tuesday night because I don’t really like crowds!

An employee at Marriott Harbor Beach recommended Boatyard. While googling the menu and reviews we saw they had an happy hour until 7 p.m. We originally used Open Table to do a reservation. But, happy hour is only at the inside or outside bar so we relocated from an outside table to the outside bar. The drinks were good and the food was delicious. Though we only ate from the happy hour menu, we did say we would return for happy hour and then go to the table.

Thankfully we made a reservation way in advance because it was busy on a Friday afternoon. We got a table by the dock and it was perfect. We decided to stick with the captains seafood tower – unfortunately crab season ended just a few days earlier so we didn’t get the crab. We added on Bimini bread, 6 additional oysters, a Caesar salad and the garlic mashed potato side and left full and happy. Definitely a great dining experience!

Absolutely delicious food, super friendly service, yummy drinks and great decor ! Whether you’ve seen the movie or not, you’ll definitely enjoy eating here, especially if you are a shrimp lover.

You get to keep the cups from some of the drinks, which are not too overpriced.

Nice little water fountain and refreshing mist on the terrace, very pleasant.

They were also accommodating of a gluten allergy.

First dining experience and I will return. Hiccup upon being seated and sitting for a while-no sever ever came to my table. I waved to the bartender and and he welcomed me to join him. He put my order in right away, made me an excellent cocktail and he was attentive my entire dining experience.

Superb menus, plate portions are decent as well as the price. Go to place in Fort Lauderdale for seafood lover and you will not regret it. They have patio as well so you get to see the ocean front. The shrimps, lobster and sausage with corn yummers! And my fish with shrimp that i ordered is done to perfection. I have to buy the spices they use for 8 dollars and i got free bag and a mason jar it’s awesome. We will be back here For sure

Across to beach and ocean. Nice decorations. The Outdoor was excellent, a bit noisy because of the pond. The foods were delicious. I ordered Fry Calamari and Shrimp soup. Calamari could have more spices. The soup was excellent. The frozen margarita was strong.

Nice location facing the beach. The servers and bartender were very helpful and friendly. The food took longer than expected but it was good especially the hush puppies and the ribeye steak with mashed potatoes. The drinks were reasonably priced as well.

Loved it! They brought out coleslaw and hush puppies before we even ordered! Catfish was amazing! Can’t wait to bring my dad here, he will love it. Parking is a bit hectic. A few spots in front and on the side but it looked like people were parking in the gas station next to it too. It smelled a little fishy in there (if it wasn’t obvious) I know my mom isn’t a fan of fish but that catfish was amazing. I’d like to come back and try other things. I took pics of everyone’s food at our table

The food here was delicious and the service was excellent!! A friend of mine recommended and we both truly enjoyed ourselves. The shrimp, fish, everything we ate was mouth watering. They even had sweet tea. 😃

Approximately 4 people were in line to be seated when I arrived and more than 15 were in line as I left. The crowd has spoken, don’t miss an opportunity to dine here. Plan your time accordingly. The serving options were fried, blackened or grilled and I honestly believe neither one is a bad choice. The portions were more than adequate and delicious. The drinks and service were great.

Visit to Catfish Dewey’s did not disappoint. Food was good, wanted more of cajun boil flavor but the food was nice e. Catfish was golden brown and flavorful. We ordered the shrimp cocktail as an appetizer and hush puppies come as bread for the table. Food comes in generous portions.
