My wife and I celebrated 31 years at Doc’s. We read the reviews about the wait time and were prepared. The wait was not too bad. My wife got drinks at the bar and we enjoyed the waterfront view.

We had the queso special with the crab guacamole as appetizers. They were really good.

I had the rib eye which was cooked wonderfully and tasted great. My wife had the crab stuffed flounder which she really liked.

We were given a complimentary piece of key lime pie for our special anniversary. It was wonderful.

Bryan was our server and took great care of us. He gave us a good rundown of the menu and his suggestions were on point. He really made the occasion better with his positive attitude.

Thanks Bryan and we wish you a long and happy marriage.

A nice fishy experience! With some beautiful views! This place has a great atmosphere with lots of room. With indoor and outdoor seating. The main entrance and the ToGo window are on the second level. So be ready to climb a few steps or use the Handicap accessible ramp! Great deck space with benches to wait when the place is a little busy. All in all worth a visit especially if you love some good sea food!!

Great food! Had the stuffed flounder, son had the fish tacos and husband coconut shrimp-not fried. Plentiful portions. Fresh ingredients. Service for our meal was as expected-very friendly and first waitress was attentive. Ended our evening by coming back later for dessert, drinks and live music. Mixed drink awesome-watermelon and cucumber flavored. Atmosphere relaxing with great view of the sunset and water. Highly recommend!

Waitress was super nice very speedy! She seemed to read our minds when we needed something. Food was great I had the new york strip with potatoes must request “docs style” they put sauce and shrimp on top. Cooked perfect and the sauce was so good. Husband had tuna tacos which were very good. Also had live music and he sang very well. Overall great for a nice night out.

We stopped here on our way into Port A and will absolutely make it a normal stop for us when we come this way. It was right at lunchtime on a Saturday, we got right in, were seated on the balcony and received our food so quickly it actually surprised us. Our server was wonderful, the food was fresh and so very good! I ordered the Coastal Bacon Wrapped Shrimp, the shrimp were good size and had great flavor. I can never order these from restaurants since they always seem to have jalapeno in them. These did not. The rice and green beans were also very good. My husband ordered the Mahi and Shrimp they had in special and he was very happy with it.

Awesome place for seafood! Don’t be afraid of the lines, they are quick and service is good. If you don’t know what to get they are friendly enough to make suggestions. We went on a Friday night and found a table with a view. Our food took like 10 min and was very hot and fresh. The gumbo was okay lacked flavor. The shrimp, fish and crab cakes were very delicious. The workers are quick to clean up tables and take away plates when your done. The sunset view was beautiful from the porch. We would definitely come again.

In a beautiful location on the inlet under the causeway bridge. They have boat access and plenty of deck seating. They’ve been around since 1980 and have their original big board menu on display which is cool to see! Majority of food is fried. Wife and I split the combo and when we asked the cashier if it was big enough she very enthusiastically said that many people split it and it was enough for us both. She was great and absolutely correct! We would come back.

It’s been a couple years since we have eaten here, and it Didn’t disappoint. They have new owners, and have made some changes. They now have an oyster bar next door that should be opening soon. And karaoke tonight. The fish and shrimp combo was my choice and the portions were more than enough. It was a pleasant evening. We will return.

Awesome place for seafood with a casual vibe. Great view out to the water. Get your own tarter sauce, cocktail sauce, and hot sauce. Large overflowing plates. My fish tacos were delicious and crispy. Half a dozen of fried oysters were also delicious. Highly reccomend!

The fish and chips were not as good as other restaurants we ate at. The food was just okay. Service was fine. We liked having a picture board to go along with the names of the dishes, that way we had an idea of what to expect.

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about but we had a great time. There was a 20 min wait for a table but it went quickly and the rest of our service was great and quick. Our server, believe it was Destiny, was amazing and friendly and super great.
All the employees seemed great too. The decor is very cool and for a beach restaurant it was a very fun place with great staff, don’t usually get that so close to the water/tourist spots
The food wasn’t overly amazing or fancy, but it was good. The Diablo pasta wasn’t spicy enough according to my husband, but otherwise everything was delicious. And as long as you don’t get a fancy drink, everything is very reasonable priced. It’s worth a visit if you’re in the area and hungry

This is a really great seafood place. Perfectly located near the tourist attractions. The fish here is tasty and the batter has just right the amount of crisp to it. The fried calamari was a treat and their fries are also delicious. They serve Big Red here which is definitely a huge plus. The staff here are friendly and fast. I’ll be coming back soon!

We had the chicken fried chicken and baked potato. Chips and salsa for an appetizers. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We arrived at 9:20pm., and we weren’t to sure if we would get good service or whatever they had left over, because they close at 10pm. But there was nothing else open that we wanted to try. So we took a chance and glad we did. The food was fresh and delicious and our waitress was still energetic. We definitely recommend this restaurant on your next vacation.

This little gem was located very close to where we were staying. Any place that has seafood queso on their menu is worth a try. The queso and salsa was absolutely delicious. The aloha burger was cooked to perfection and the fries were cooked fresh. The drink menu was pretty large and service was quick and Lo was attentive. Don’t miss out on stopping here for a great meal and good beach vibes.

We had the pleasure of being served by Todd (I am bad with names and so truly hope I’m remembering correctly) at Blackbeard’s for dinner last night. The Baja fish tacos (HUGE) and shrimp and catfish basket were delicious! We’d come back for both; however, what made the dining experience even better was our attendant that evening. He was the epitome of warmth and hospitality and showed a genuine desire to make his guests comfortable. How lucky this establishment is to have him!

My wife and I absolutely loved this place. It does get busy but for a party of 3 you get seated fairly quickly. I got the seafood platter and she got the 8oz New York Strip and she said it even beats Texas Roadhouse since its seasoned way better and its very fresh. The fish I received tasted so fresh I felt like they sent a fisherman out to catch my fish while I waited, it was so good and flaky 😋 U & I keep doing what you are doing everything is delicious…

Enjoyable experience. Our waiter David was great! My steak was cooked just like I like it and full of flavor, the cream of mushroom soup was terrific, and the fries were good. Hubby’s ribs were enormous and so tasty; his mashed potatoes were yummy and the first were good. Definitely an excellent all-around experience.

The staff were great. Tim was our waiter and he seemed so knowledgeable about the entire menu, restaurants history and was completely engaged the entire time to ensure we were satisfied. Honestly, I could not believe the quality of food. Totally unexpected and especially for the price range. the blue cheese steak was absolutely phenomenal. Probably one of the best I’ve ever had and that’s in comparison to the 300 and $500 restaurants. the bread was exceptional the salad and the salad dressing of blue cheese was again one of the best I’ve ever tasted. and then if that’s not enough, the poor dessert. The cheesecake made in house with the raspberry sauce, was an absolute delight. Will definitely recommend my family and friends try this place out

This place was full but and after finishing our meals we understood why! Wait was about 20 minutes so not bad. Service was fantastic and the place itself was inviting. The food was fantastic. One of my buddies had just had seafood at a different place and he said his meal her was 5 times better, very scientific! Another said this was the best t-bone he ever had. My ribeye was delicious! Refills kept coming and overall great food, great times and for sure 5 stars!

We are here in Christmas day. Said the wait was 45 minutes to an hour but we were seated in less than 30 minutes. Husband had the 10 ounce sirloin medium rare and it was delicious!! I had the Turkey with cornbread dressing, cream of chicken soup, cranberries, baked potato corn, salad and cauliflower. The food was not only delicious but served hot – and quickly in spite of them being at maximum capacity. The salad was fresh, crisp and the ranch dressing was delicious! Best I’ve had. Usually, corn is just corn but this corn was sweet and tasty!!
I had to get a to-go box…we ate early (3:30pm) and we might get hungry later. But just in case – we ordered four of their desserts as we couldn’t decide! We got the strawberry cheesecake and chocolate fudge cake lol. I swear it’s because we’re going to be staying in the next two days and need leftovers!!! It’s Christmas!

I went for happy hour, best deals on drinks on appetizers. It has a very good local feel, and all that I ate was great. I wanted to try the hot wing challenge but they were out. I had the fish and chips (recommended) Buffalo wings, and coconut shrimp(also recommended), and the margarita. The service was a little slow as it was post lunch I guess. We ordered sushi too, but the wait time for over an hour, so we skipped it. We finished everything that was ordered. Perfect lunch time during hot summers!!!

There was a wait as it was pretty busy, but I like that they text your phone when your table is ready. This place has good food, variety and a relaxing atmosphere. Our waiter Winston was attentive and gave us good service. The fried asparagus were delicious (I don’t even like asparagus and I loved it). The crab stuffed flounder was great, the fried fish and chips were tasty, and the Blackened Chicken Alfredo was good, but the sauce could’ve used a little more flavor. I had a fried flounder filet with a baked potato and loved it. Overall everything was great from start to finish.

Good drinks, good vibe & great bartenders precluded a one star review – our food order took over an hour to arrive. The food was a solid 3-star performance an bar service 4 star.

Host staff and the kitchen were clearly having major issues adapting to the demands of a few large parties. We got seats at the bar, avoiding a 45 min – 1 hour wait – and observed multiple open tables for extended periods of time with many people waiting to be seated the entire time.

Might give it another shot. Manage expectations if you go here.

Super friendly service. The Happy Hour sushi deal is terrific. Very delicious. Our waitress was very helpful and sweet. When in town, you have to try this restaurant. Our GPS did not get us there as effectively as we would have liked so be prepared to hunt a little bit for it.

Great Island restaurant, that will actually cook what you catch locally for a small fee. We ordered fried pickles as a starter. Thin sliced well seasoned batter with a side of homemade ranch. Ours arrived after our meal and they were not as hot as I would have liked but still good. Next up Texas crunchy roll(tempura battered shrimp) and the tarantula roll (soft shelled crab) these were great! Very fresh tasting. Last was firecracker flounder. WOW, this bad boyhas some heat but sooooo good. Really stole the show.
