  Ordered Cajun Pasta, pasta dry, no sauce, had to order separate for an extra charge. Ugh. But overall, the food is good. Atmosphere and service awesome. Will order something different next time.

  Took my mom here on a very busy weekday. The place was hopping with a full crowd. We were seated quickly and waited on quickly as well. Our waitress was fantastic Mom got a poboy and I got shrimp and grits. Everything was very good.

  Food 5 out of 5. Great flavor, nice southern flavor. The drinks however are overpriced for the area. 16$ vodka red bulls (they did have sugar free, so that was nice). They have a lot of taps, but not a good way to know what is actively on tap or what seasonals they may have.

  It was meant for me to try this restaurant and everything that lead me here was right! The food was super delicious and service was fast! Food was cooked perfectly and came out hot. The gator bites were cooked perfect and glad we tried them. The price matched the food and portions were perfect. Dinner was we hoped for and more! The waitress was very friendly and made us feel at home.

  Don’t come if you’re expecting it to be the ritz Carlton. But if you’re wanting good seafood in a relaxed atmosphere, come in & roll up your sleeves. Prices were higher than we normally pay to eat out but we understand market pricing and we don’t eat like this every week so it’s fine. We ordered the big Jim to share and it was *almost* more than we could eat, but we powered through. Just the right amount of spice. We are stuffed and happy. Fast friendly service.

  Rosie Jo’s is located in Alexandra, Louisiana. It is a great restaurant if your looking for Cajun food! They offer all kinds of Cajun soul food. There is plenty of seating for large groups or small meetings. If your in the Alexandra area I highly recommend stopping in and trying them out! I had the Crawfish dual and it was awesome!

  Now this was some good, well seasoned food for the price after coming in from Dallas craving seafood. Going back this weekend, Rosie Jo’s gets an encore. Great waiting staff, family friendly and fun atmosphere

  Came the first weekend of June for the 1st time

  Our waitress was AWESOME! I give her 10/10 stars.

  I ordered the catfish bites: they were really hard to the taste–dried up like eating hard cracklin.

  The red beans and rice with sausage also wasn’t that good, either.

  The boiled crawfish were BEAUTIFUL and large; however, this eatery doesn’t boil their crawfish in seasoned water 🥺😭. They place the seasoning on the crawfish afterwards.

  I don’t foresee returning at all.
  The cup of seafood gumbo was sub-par and more like a stew.

  We finally got to eat here after several friends and family told us it was great food and friendly service. And I whole heartedly agree. The waitress was knowledgeable about all the dishes and helpful in navigating the menu and specials. We chose the Lobster tail special and man was it good. We will definitely return and will let all our friends and family know what a great place to eat the Fiery Crab is.

  Drove from Shreveport to visit this place while visiting a friend. So delicious! The crab legs were spicy and flavorful, and the char boiled oysters were some of the best oysters I have even eaten! Also shout out to our server Netia. She was great.

  Our Waiter had really great service & we had a bunch of different things that tasted great.. only thing we didn’t care for was the seafood gumbo, it wasn’t the best. But everything else was great, had a good time!

  My husband took me to dinner for my birthday and we enjoyed to whole experience. The House Platter was excellent. The service was great. We are looking forward our next visit already.

  Great prices for amazing food. Staff is super friendly and service is quick.

  I’ve been here twice now, the first time on a busy Saturday night. It took a bit for us to get seated, but by busy standards, it was in excellent time. It took about 30 minutes for us to get seated about 15-20 minutes for our appetizers and about 20-30 minutes after that for our main course to come out. With there being a few large parties there I think this was good timing. Our waitress was very kind and kept us updated with the timing on our food.

  The next time was on a Wednesday night which was much slower. We we’re seated immediately, only took about 5-10 minutes for our appetizers and about 10 minutes after that our food was out. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly that time as well.

  Overall, if you go during the week it will be pretty quick, weekends, expect a longer wait. Either way, expect great food at a good price.

  The employees here are above and beyond!!!! They make sure you food is correct, hot and tastes good. You have to wait a minute for it. But will definitely make this place a go to from now on. Whoever owns it though needs to get some cooler air for the employee work station. The dine in side was really cool and comfortable. But it was miserable standing waiting to order. I can only imagine how bad it was for them working. I offered to go buy them a fan and bring it in. So whoever owns this place fix it. You have some amazing employees who are polite, friendly and happy. Despite working it a hot and muggy job area!!!!!! Don’t lose them.

  Just took both my grandparents here where they both had small falls/dizzy spells. Staff was awesome and to the guy who helped my grandma back up, I wish I had cash for a tip. Thank y’all so much ♡

  Gumbo was not good, it had 2 small shrimp in it the rice was hard . Batter 🐠 was very hard, dark spots on it like it was cooked in old oil. Corn 🌽 didn’t have any taste.

  Management and or owners of this place has changed for the worst. I used to go here with my family a couple of times a month and was decent food but this past weekend me and my family went there to eat and as soon as we walk in we got the negative feeling from the workers they did not want to do their job they was rude and the person at the counter got our order wrong and then filled drinks and gave to us then said we will have to check them to see what is what because she didn’t care to label it or tell us then she spilled one of the drinks all over us and the counter, then once we got the food we was missing 2 orders and then she had attitude saying they gave us our order but we didn’t get our full order so it was the worst experience we’ve ever had here and we will not go back ever again they lost us as customers for good.

  The BEST Étouffée in Louisiana! Get the sampler and try a little bit of everything. I need more of that yummy bread pudding!
  Also, the staff were SOO nice and even the other customers were really helpful. They found out we’d never been here before and all their suggestions were outstanding!

  Fried fish is breaded perfectly but they cut the fillers into straps so you may get a piece with not that much fish.

  I got crawfish at 3.99 a lb, they had quick service, I went through the drive thru. This was my first time going there and I was really impressed! Crawfish was nice in size and flavor was good not too spicy!
