That lemon pepper chicken was not good at all and the waiter didn’t ask nor come to refill the tea glass not once. One guest picked her grilled chicken out of her salad and literally put it on a saucer to be thrown away. The corn and fish and grits were good. The service didn’t ROCK. We asked if the mushrooms were thick before ordering because they are sliced, she said oh ya they are thick. Well that was a lie. In 40 minutes she came by once. Poor service. Poor appetizer. The shrimp in grits were greasy but they were pretty good. Just small shrimp. Definitely not worth the money.

The food was sub par. Didn’t even care to finish my meal (country fried steak) because it was rubbery and tasted like it was a frozen patty that they heated in the microwave. Went we two other people. One got chopped pork (he said it was good) and the other got a smoked turkey sandwich that was obviously not smoked and didn’t taste good enough to finish or take home either. None of the side were anything to write home about. While our waitress tried hard to be helpful and did an OK job. I know it wasn’t her fault but we were seated next to a mother with 2 sons that were super loud and distracting and actually broke their booth while we were seated. The mother did nothing, just sat there and watched a video on her phone on FULL BLAST VOLUME! Not a great experience…we will NOT be back.

P.S. they are selling deep fried turkeys right now for $60 each! I wouldn’t pay $10 because it would probably ruin our Thanksgiving dinner.

A large group of us visited last month after the pinning graduation for future nurses attending Albany State University. We had a party of about 15. The servers were on point, the food was superb. Oh, my gosh, the steak I had was so freaking good. No one voiced any complaints about their meals. Oh, the oysters were very expensive, $35 per dozen, gosh! The overall quantity and quality is awesome. We will be back for my mom’s birthday celebration! Well, guess what, we visited again on August 12, 2022, my mom’s birthday. There were 3 in our party, me, my sister, and mom. When I tell you that our server, Izzy is amazing would be an understatement. She is so freaking good at what she does and I will request her every time. Oh, the food was amazingly delicious, so shout out to the cooks; don’t change a thing! The entire team is wonderful! This was really good. I got the 2 way lunch special (I got fish and shrimp) which was a very generous amount of food for a lunch portion. The price was more than fair, and the food didn’t disappoint. The gator tail appetizer was good too!

Dine-In June 24: The alcohol was on point. However the appetizer was greasy; looked and tasted like it was dropped a second time in the grease. The crab cluster was over cooked(steamed/boiled) and could barely break open. The shrimp tasted great and were not overcooked. I would recommend backing off the salt/season salt. The seafood taste was overwhelmed by salt. This was my second time dining in. I have had better experiences with take out. I was also charged extra for asking for my season to be on the side and not added. No cracker for the crabs were provided when the meal came out. The server was polite and the overall atmosphere was good.

The King Claw in Albany superceded the one here in Columbus. Cory was our server and bartender and his customer service/hospitality was amazing. I ordered the King Claw boil with hot seasoning. It was amazing! I haven’t been to any other seafood establishment and gotten what I asked for. The drinks are made perfectly to taste. This was my first time visiting Albany and I really enjoyed my experience.

We went here last night to celebrate my birthday. Food was good. However you lost a star because I’m from out of town and I googled the restaurant before going and no where did I find anything that said yall have a karaoke night. It was way too loud. Karaoke is ok as long as I can still communicate with my server However my waitress had to lean over for me to scream my order into her ear. That is a bit much. 😳. There were multiple people celebrating they’re birthdays last night so it was a bit kaotic which was fine with me. Kids were everywhere so it had more of a backyard birthday party feeling and even with so much going on the service was still decent. Food came out in average time. Thanks for a good night.

Hands down this is some of the best Seafood you will find! Its pricey, but worth every penny. I highly recommend you use the bib and gloves! You won’t regret it! Enjoy!

Went there for lunch on a Saturday and was seated almost immediately. Our server promptly took our drink order and gave us time to look over the menu and answered our questions since it was our first visit. The food came in a reasonable amount of time and was fresh and hot. Depending on what you get, it could get messy to eat which in our case was is in proportion to how delicious it is was! Our server was attentive throughout our meal and made us feel welcome during our visit. The food was very good and we will definitely be back for another visit!

The food? Amazing! The atmosphere? Comforting. The prices are very reasonable. But the service was minuscule at best. The gorgeous, young, lady who served us was very polite but once she dropped our food off, we never saw her again until she brought the ticket… And left again as fast as she came. We waited for 20 minutes for her to come get the payment, which affected her tip. After waiting another 10 minutes, we just put the money on the table and left. I didn’t feel easy about just leaving the money on the table so since we ate outside we sat in the car and waited for her to come get the money; It was ANOTHER 13 minutes before she FINALLY came🤦🏿‍♀️

I enjoyed the salmon, it was cooked perfect and the salad was great. My cheese sticks were ok, don’t think I’ll order again but I want to go back for the oysters 😋 my co workers enjoyed them!

We frequent Austin’s on Wednesdays. You just can’t beat BOGO wings. I’d highly recommend the Asian Fusion and Triple Threat flavors, so so good. We usually get traditional and those are great but I decided to try boneless this go around (I know, I know lol) but I have to say they were pretty delicious. The flavors come through a bit more with the boneless chicken and they were really crispy! Either way, it’s a great deal and taste great!

This place has very low star ratings and I’m not really sure why… my team and I came to try them out after many locals recommend it to us. From the second we hit the door we knew we were in for a Damn good time. Our server Consuela was amazing. Very honest and personable, if you come here you will want to be in her section. As for the food we ordered the steak tils and they were pretty good. For the mains we ordered the Jambalaya, Cajun pasta,and Flank steak and we had zero issues with the food. There was one almost issues but our server was on it before the food got to the table. Our drinks were strong and made correctly. You need to stop by and give a try. Friendly staff. Fantastic food, however it’s a tiny bit spicy now as it wasn’t before. 🌶 Pretty quick service, ⌚ especially if you go inside vs waiting in the extra long drive thru line. 🚗 it’s pretty clean to be such an old building too, they’ve kept it up well. The wing and fry tray is a pretty good value, but I feel like there could be a little more fries. 🐔🍟🍗 definitely ask for extra seasoning. The desserts are fantastic too. The cheesecake is sooooo yummy and cooling after eating fresh, hot chicken and burning my hands and mouth bc I just can’t wait. 🍰 The chocolate cake is delish and so moist that it just falls apart, and omg is it good. 🎂🍫 The husband got jealous of one of our daughters eating the last few bites, so she went and shared with him and fed it to him. 🍴🙄😂

All the way from stone mountain ga. To say this place makes great fried fish with that crack seasoning like say about one of the restaurants up here that does the same with their signature seasoning. From my last two visits waiting time is mid, not to long, but hey it’s freshly cooked hot. Almost burnt my tongue eating this with my daughter who enjoyed the chicken sandwich.

Man. Wow. Can’t believe this was my first time here. So damn good. The Catfish and shrimp, not sure how they make it so good… The fries slaw and fried green tomatoes are good too!! Best I’ve found anywhere near.

We went on a pretty slow night. Kids started school next day but usually this place is busy with people everywhere. Our waiter got our order wrote it down on our huge table cloth at the bottom. And about 30 minutes later our food arrived. In picture was my meal. I eat right out the bag because I knew I was not going to eat my complete meal. Leftovers for another day. Overall great place with great vibe atmosphere.

I have been here twice, and both times, I’ve had the pleasure of having Cheyenne, “The Best” server. She is so friendly, and nice, and a great asset to your restaurant. Outside of your good food, she’ll be the reason I will visit again, so please treat her right! Customers please tip her, because in her words “She got you”! She seems to love her job, and does it with ease, and no pressure, and a beautiful smile! By the way, the fried, breaded chicken wings are delicious, and served fresh out the grease. Just the way I like them. God bless!

Service was good. As the place got busier the server did his best to keep up and did a good job. He kept a frequent check on our table.
The food was good. I had combo #8 with shrimp, sausage, dungeness crab, corn and potatoes. It was almost too much food for one person.
My wife had chicken fingers and fries. Her meal was $11 but looked more like a kid’s ⁸⁸őmeal with just a handful of fries and four small nuggets (not fingers….nuggets). My daughter had chicken fingers and onion rings and she had more than she could eat. Looked like someone in the kitchen wasnt paying much attention to portion size.
The restaurant was clean and spacious. Tables were not crowded into or around one another. The men’s restroom was clean also.
Only two things I didnt care for. First, the bar is right inside the main entrance. No way to get to the dining room without walking past the bar. Second, the music wasn’t as loud when we arrived but later someone turned it up a lot and it was overbearing by the time we left.

Place is nice and clean. Waitress was polite. I ordered the catfish plate and it was good taste, seasoned right. Took longer to cook then I was expecting but good. I was told house draft beer was $3 and at the end we paid $6 . Sadly I did not check my receipt right away . I gave them 3 starts base on what I order and not on the whole menu. It was our first time eating here. I will try some of the crab and mussels dishes which look delicious next time we come back to Albany.

Very good especially the popcorn shrimp, well seasoned. The hushpuppies were okay. I wished they were larger and crisper. The coleslaw was really good. The shrimp boil was good, a little spicier than I expected. I only had one potato in the boil. Wish there were 2. I give it a 3.5 out of 5.
