  1. Came year after 15 years to enjoy the oysters again. Some changes to the oyster bar but largely intact. Chives are not as many oyster types as it used to be due to Covid. More cooked food selections and have probably 8 different types of oyster to offer. Oyster ranges from $2.85 to $3.85 per piece. From east to west coast , I prefer the New Brunswick and the Washington coast . Briny and lots of sea water mineral taste . Wine selection are quite a range with selection of many American wines . I ordered the clam but it was not great. Sitting on the 50s type of chair to enjoy a simple oyster lunch! Yummy …

  2. Great ambience, lovely decor, huge history and to top it all off, fresh oysters in the heart of the city. If you like oysters and fresh seafood then this is an easy recommendation. They’ve got a wide selection of drinks as well so you’re set for a luxurious meal, no matter the time of day.
I’d advise to sit at the counter for a more authentic experience. It makes sense to ask the staff what’s best and what their favourites are as they know their stuff.

  3. An iconic NYC dining experience. Some of the freshest, most beautiful and delicious oysters you will ever eat. Not a bad seat in the house but I love all the counter and bar seat options. I’ve been a fan since my first work trip to New York City in 1992. Order an oyster pan roast in the winter months and you’ll leave happy. Ask servers and bartenders for recommendations on favorite oysters and other dishes and you’ll be happy guaranteed. Don’t miss the crab cake sandwich and caviar sandwich!

  4. ***The star rating is only for the oysters and clam chowder***

If you like oysters and New England clam chowder then this is the place to get them. The only restaurant in NYC that has Belon oysters!! A must if you like a creamy and metallic flavor. They have sweet overtones and a sort of ‘coppery’ finish which is a delight when it hits your mouth! There are also delicious cherry stone clams and many other oysters you can choose from. The clam chowder has the perfect clam to potato ratio with just the right amount of cream and thickness. If you don’t like raw seafood you can also order their lackluster dishes that they offer from the menu.

  5. Nice to enjoy oysters while at the historic Grand Central Station. Prepare for extremely high prices! They have a great atmosphere with live lobsters, expansive areas of dining, beautiful bar area and many kinds of oysters, she’ll fish, meaty fish and non-fish items. Service was good. Overall it was a nice experience but I can’t get beyond the prices.

Cute spot with really friendly staff. If you’re here for the oyster happy hour be aware it is first come first serve at the bar so good luck. I came in for dining eager than happy hour. The food is reasonable in portion size for the area. The flavors are good. Service is fast. The only weird thing to me is the butter given with the bread was like… Super cold. I’d recommend swinging by.

Very popular among the working crowd, the bar is quite large and nice, rather difficult to get a drink at the bar but considering the crowd understandable. Food was very good, nothing over the top just well made and presented. Mixed drinks are quite good. Just wished our reservation was in a quieter spot so we didn’t have to yell over the crowd. Over all an good experience.

Their happy hour is so worth. It runs from 3-7pm daily. We ordered oysters, calamari, fish tacos, tuna rolls, the beef slider, and it came to 50 after taxes and tips. I really liked the calamari and tuna rolls, and the oysters were decent. I would not order the fish tacos or beef slider again if I go back. The dining environment and service were nice.

Went here last night for a team dinner. The food was great. I ordered appetizers for the table Oyster Rockefeller, Clams, Shrimp Scampi. The flavor combination of the clams were the best. However, you can’t go wrong with bacon. Also the entrée portions are huge. My entrée was fish and chips. I was expecting maybe two strips of battered code. It was huge. I had to ask for a to go bag. The only negative for me was the setting. My group and I were seated fairly close together. We felt stuffed, but I get it. They are trying to maximize space but it takes away from such a wonderful experience.

We arrived at 5:27 for a 5:30 reservation. Re requested a bar seat in our reservation, as he wanted to enjoy happy hour. The hostess told us there were not tables available at the bar. After waiting 10 minutes for her to see what she could di, they made up a makeshift table for us (very nice considering they’re mistake).

We then waited 28 minutes before someone even came over to bring water!!! This was even after we told 3 passing servers we have been waiting.

Finally a girl brings us water, but states he cannot take our orders. We waited another 23 minutes (51 minutes total) because our waiter came to *only* take our drink orders.

If the restaurant was busy, I’d understand. There were very few people there, and many waiters (including ours) chatting behind the bar for long periods.

I ordered the seafood salad ($36.00), and there were no shrimp as advertised. If I’m paying that much for a salad I expect to have it correct. The bill wasn’t adjusted even after mentioning this to the waiter.

Food was great, but the service was extremely poor. Making it a bad experience and would not recommend

I always go to Crave Fishbar when I need my oyster fix while in New York. They always have a good selection of fresh oysters. Crave Fishbar has a bottomless brunch on Saturday and Sunday where for US$19, you can have your fill of unlimited Mimosa, bloody Mary and beer. Outdoor seating is available but it is not too comfortable in the cold. Indoor seating is very cozy. You could also sit at the bar. Reservations are recommended as the restaurant can get very busy during happy hour and dinner.

I’m not really into seafood so I had the cheeseburger slider and it was just so good. They’re spicy margaritas are fun. Great place to get for happy hour (even on weekends).

This area is filled with restaurants and bars, but some of them are no more than just fine. Crave is a little more sophisticated, but still relaxed. They serve fresh fish and seafood and the freshness goes in pair with tastiness. I can honestly recommend the fish as well as the Maine Lobster Roll – they do not skimp on the lobster.

Found this place close to my hotel and it was awesome. Honestly I made a meal out of the appetizers and oysters. The Affogato was a great way to end the meal. Definitely would come back. The staff especially Lauren was nice and helpful.

I stumbled upon this place whilst walking through the area and it was definitely a great surprise! The manager was really friendly and accommodating to us the entire time, as well as the rest of the staff. The environment is a fun, cozy, coastal vibe with good music. Everything on the menu is awesome! We couldn’t even decide, so we ordered a lot of things. Portion sizes are filling for appetizers and entrées so you are getting great value for your meal!
I definitely enjoyed my time at Crave Fishbar and do intend on returning to dine again. I highly recommend you check out this place and give it a try. You will not be disappointed!

Awesome place for seafood. Everything is fresh and the service is great. Definitely try out the 2 dozen Oyster sampler. I’m definitely coming back for happy hour when I find the time. There wasn’t a dish we didn’t enjoy.

Immensely grateful that my host instantly relayed some quick info about the menu as he was seating me. I love the display at the raw bar where I watched them assemble huge, beautiful platters of shellfish. The sea urchin was delicious and had a pleasant texture. Don’t miss the bread!! Probably the best dinner rolls I’ve had in a long time.

We stumbled upon this place during our visit and luckily arrived during Happy Hour. It’s currently Monday to Friday from 4 to 6 pm and is a pretty great deal (half off) for the variety and quality of oysters here. The seafood overall is fresh and you can get a pretty amazing seafood platter too.

We got their Oyster Sampler and all were delectable and sweet! Very pleased. Definitly try an Oyster Shooter too! Super smooth and perfect to start off the evening. Service was super friendly and amicable too! Would definitely come back!

My daughter and me wanted to try a new place of seafood and Cull & Pistol is a great place. We tried for appetizer the pistol on horseback( amazing mix of flavors), the Lobster roll Maine and the Lobster bake, our waitress who made all the great recommendations is Christine, lovely, smiling who knows how to explain you in details the menu.
We spent a great time and we enjoyed the food. Oh, I forgot…banana pudding is to die.

Great deal for the happy hour! Half price on oysters and cheaper prices on wine and drinks. The oysters were amazing, as was the service.
Edit: the oysters were so good that we came back again two days later. We have now tested all oysters on the menu, and we concider going back again.

First time here, amazing. We had a reservation and the wait was longer than expected so they brought us complimentary drinks. The appetizers came out very fast. We got 9 oysters, the lobster, and the kale salad. All delicious. For entrees we got the tuna, pasta, and tacos. Again, delicious. Loved the mouse at the end as well. The waiter and staff were all so lovely and very attentive!

Good ambiance and food! We arrived earlier than our reservation so they sat us at the bar, which was perfect.

We ordered the Lobster Fritters, Littleneck Clams, Old Bay Fries, Grilled Octopus Salad, and the Wedge Salad.

Our favourite was the grilled octopus as it was very flavourful and cooked perfectly. We’d order this again. Yum!

The other dishes were nothing special. The fritters didn’t taste much like lobster and were a bit doughy. The clams, fries, and wedge salad were what you would find anywhere else.

The service was good and it was a cozy place to hang out. We’d return to try some of their other dishes!

Delicious!!!! First time coming here and not only was staff professional, courteous and quick, my meal was 10/10. We ordered the raw seafood tower (amazing) the lobster fritters went crazy, the truffle syrup was soooo different and tasty & last but not least, our drinks were phenomenal.
Our server Danielle was the best 💅🏾
Will definitely be back and will definitely recommend to others.

Loved the food! I ordered a linguine & clams. I do prefer my linguine with some type of cream based sauce though, so I think that’s the only thing missing. Other than that- loved my meal. The service was also good.

FOR OUTDOOR RESERVATIONS- I was freaking freezing. I was quite literally shivering outside and those heat lamps did not a thing for me. Not even my warm drink could assuage my frigid body. 🙁
Perhaps getting some stronger lambs for by peoples feet?

Anyway I enjoyed my time! Thanks for having us.

We were passing this restaurant and saw people having oysters. So we ended up having 2 dozens of oysters during happy hour.
Oysters were $1.50 each during happy hours, 4:30- 6:30pm every day.
Also, complimentary chocolate pudding was great. Services are good as well. 👍🏻
