  1. Great place to get some fried seafood delicacies! I had the clam belly plate and was happy as a clam with my food! Pun intended of course 😁 We also had some ice cream for dessert which was also very god, chocolate with peanut butter swirl! It seems a bit pricey but the food and staff all make it worth the price so stop in and get some food food.

  2. I’ve been coming here every since I was a kid mainly for ice cream, but I tried their clam strips out the other day and I wasn’t sure what to expect, but they were actually pretty good! We also got 4 ice creams which were delicious, but a little difficult to eat out of the cup as they forgot to give us spoons!

  3. Classic local counter service with burgers, fried seafood and more. Popular stop for ice cream and outdoor window service. It can get busy and food made to order, so not fast food. I enjoyed a lobster roll, nicely toasted buttered hot dog bun and the mayo and lobster was fresh and sweet. While I recommend the lobster roll, it was small, but the price was balanced to match. Fries seemed battered and crispy. Cole slaw was chopped fine, almost pureed, very wet and under seasoned in a small lidded cup i would expect to see a side sauce served in. Fountain drink cups are perhaps 12 oz and small, however refilling is an option. Overall it was a blast from the past and worth the visit.

  4. Worse experience. Been coming here for 20+ years. Chicken tnders tasted like they were store bought frozen. These are definately different. The price went up 3.00, less onion rings and chicken. Food was cold. Also price adjustment again starting september 1st.

  5. Only came here for the ice cream! The Maple Walnut is a staple in New England and they have some tasty stuff! Highly recommend getting if you’re looking for some good old New England ice cream! So creamy and delicious flavors!

Loved the atmosphere & the food. Prices were fairly reasonable for the portions. We sat at the bar and had great service from Shana. My husband and I shared the jumbo lobster roll and the fried oyster basket. Perhaps the best fried oysters either of us have ever had and a very delicious lobster roll.

I met a friend here for lunch. He had the fried lobster 🦞 tail as an appetizer and fried egg scallops and shrimp. I had a grilled jerk chicken sandwich with fries. The sandwich 🥪 hit the spot! My friend, he couldn’t finish his lunch!
Seafood is expensive so price to portion is hard to determine. I thought my sandwich was reasonably priced. Drinks are expensive! $12 for two 🍺 beers! $3.50 for a cup of unsweetened iced tea! Ouch!
Indoor and outdoor seasonal seating. Friendly service.
I’m not big on fried foods or seafood, This restaurant is very popular! So, if you are looking for lobster, my friend says it’s good here!
    Tobasco available on every table!

Went for Lunch with the Dog in tow. Ate outside at picnic tables after ordering from the take out window. Had a 1lb hard shell and twin 1lb soft shell Lobsters with fixings. The service was good, the atmosphere great and best of all the Lobsters were superb. They have a huge menu. Will have to come back to check it out. Great spot if you have dogs and want a great meal.

Food so good we came here twice during our vacation. We had some steamed clams, which were incredibly sweet and juicy. I would have had the basket all to myself if I didn’t have to share them with my family. The clam chowder was delicious. The boiled lobsters were very tasty. The jumbo lobster roll was gigantic and delicious. Everything was very fresh. I’d definitely come back if I’m in the area again.

Petey’s on the ocean boulevard is a place for locals. We had the luck to find one last seat. The seafood place that is open when ever you need it. They don’t do a winter break – we were eating some delicious lobster roll and various seafood dishes in February. There is a parking lot with enough space. Service staff is humble and very human. Is is a good stop when driving up to Maine or the mountains of Vermont.

Excellent service! Wonderful food! I loved my baked shrimp, haddock and lobster tail dinner with baked potato. My companion loved the fried scallops, shrimp & haddock. We had no room for dessert. The staff was friendly and efficient. The restaurant was very clean.

This place was recommended and I’m glad we visited. We stopped in for dinner and were seated right away.
Place is cozy and nice atmosphere.
I had the lobster mac and cheese and a lobster roll. Both were great and the lobster roll was awesome!
Definitely visit if your in the area!

This was my first visit to New Hampshire and The Lobster Boat. I absolutely loved this place! From the decorations to the food and especially our waitress. I highly recommend this place as a must if you’re in the area.
We got to the restaurant near closing expecting to get turned away, but we weren’t. I thought ok but the waitress is going to be annoyed and rush us; she didn’t, the exact opposite. Izzy was so sweet and helpful. Best waitress I’ve had anywhere! I asked her what she recommended and I got my very first lobster roll. It was delicious! I also ordered the lobster bisque and it was good, but my husband’s clam chowder was the best I have ever had! Definitely a must have…..it’s like an “O” for your mouth. You won’t be disappointed I promise!

    **Not wheelchair accessible**
This establishment is not wheelchair accessible so it was a good thing I can walk short distances and waddle in. They also don’t have handicapped parking. It wasn’t a problem because we got there towards closing, but would be otherwise.
I still recommend coming here if you’re wheelchair bound like me, just get the food to go!! 😉

Great lobster roll at Lobster Boat Restaurant. Started with the delicious calamari, the marinara sauce was very nice. The regular lobster roll was anything but regular, the lobster was fresh and delicious, the bun was toasted and buttery which went perfect with the lobster. I substituted the fries for onion rings, make sure you get the onion ring sauce, nice and tangy. Can’t wait to return to Merrimack to try Lobster Boat Restaurant again.

OMG. This was one of our favorite places to go when we lived here and wasn’t quite sure what to expect. The place looks virtually the same as when we left over 20 years ago. And happy to say that the food was just as good and exactly as I remembered the fried lobster today. We also had the baked haddock which was superb. Weight staff still as friendly as possible. A very tiny place with a hard place to find a parking spot, but well worth it so keep looking. Definitely happy we found our way back here. #stevensleavin

Fantastic experience. Service was more than decent, the ambience is top tier. The drinks were absolutely perfect. The food was some of the most pristine fare I’ve ever had. I pride myself on these things being a Chef and a foodie. The Foundry has what it takes to shake a food scene up. I’m excited to see some seasonal menu changes for fall!

Food was fantastic. Definitely worth going back. Mixed drinks needed some love. Too much sour mix. Larger people should be sat at a table not a booth. It was a little awkward. Waitress and other staff were super friendly. All in all a nice evening.

Food was top notch, I think we binged on that bread and butter 😅🤤 in all honesty.
Nice decor and atmosphere, beautiful at night.
Within walking distance of some malls and transport centers.
Staff was friendly and courteous, however service was busy so they were a little overwhelmed.
    Would go back.
Make sure to reserve to avoid bottleneck and pay attention to menus and specials.

This restaurant is very nice aesthetically. Drinks are amazingly thought out and well done. Menu is pricey but we had the french onion soup and poutine. Both were good.

My only issue… there are huge windows and I wouldn’t recommend eating here at sundown because there are no shades. The windows are coated with something to help, but, our table was pointed in a way that I was staring directly into the sun the entire time. We would have stayed longer and ordered more if I could have been comfortable while eating.

When another guest asked about the sunlight, a waitress responded “well, it will set soon”. That just doesn’t seem like a great option, especially when the windows are so tall, you’re in the direct sun for a good deal of time.

I was CRAVING fried clams and since I’ve been living in Florida the past 12 years we miss out on the authentic whole belly fried and steamed clam experience down there. This was an absolute WIN!! Thank you for an awesome experience all around. Delicious 🤤

*** update I have emailed owner as asked and have not received a response yet
I have been coming here since I was a little girl the only reason I gave even 2 stars was it taste good We understand prices going up but when this is a plate paid for all rings and get 5 onion rings same with my husbands plate is a shame !!! Service was extremely slow on a Saturday Night and not busy at all!! Our food was ready before I could even order our drinks and there was no line customer waiting for his sons ice cream cone told me good luck as he was waiting for 15 mins just for that no sign saying you can order drinks when you place your food order and went back to get drinks in food line because I still wasn’t helped !!!!
35yr plus customer and Not sure if we will be back considering we come up from Haverhill

Got a clam strip, calamari, and lobster platter and a clam chowder. Split it with my daughter. It was delicious! Definitely would return!

Have been coming here for years. Update, portions are awesome! Food is still delicious. Seafood is always fresh. Best onion rings around. They even have ice cream for dessert 🍨Got the pups a kiddie and they were massive! Kept them from my plate though. The photo is minus an onion ring. I couldn’t help myself☺️

What happened to this place!?! We ordered 3 meals…lobster roll plate, 3 way combo and chicken finger plate. The fries and onion rings are no longer made to order and sit under a heat lamp. There was no one ahead of me when I ordered and only one person waiting for their food yet it took almost 30 minutes to get our order and they gave us the fries and onion rings that had been sitting out that entire time, if not longer. They were ice cold and soggy. The cole slaw came in a small condiment container which amounts to one bite and it was spoiled, smelled sour as soon as the cover came off. The haddock in the combo plate was also spoiled. One bite and it was an immediate spit out. Only a few scallops and shrimp came in the combo plate but the batter is now so oddly sweet that it just wasn’t good. The lobster in the lobster roll is minced, only a very small scoop of it and had no taste, seems like it’s frozen lobster instead of the nice fresh chucks it used to be. The only redeeming thing were the chicken fingers. Over $80 for cold, soggy, spoiled food and very small portions. Never going back. This used to be the place to go for fresh fried seafood. Stay away!
