  1. This is one of our favorite places to eat while vacationing in this area. The clam chowder is the best I’ve had anywhere. It’s thick and served hot with plenty of clams. I also ordered lobster and it was amazing. They cut it up into bite size pieces and sauted it in garlic butter and placed it back into the shell. The servers all were cheerful, kind, and helpful.

  2. Came in today after years of knowing about this place and how good people talk about this restaurant. I don’t know why in the life of me, it just never occurred to me to give this place a chance. I had to try their lobster Mac and cheese and Man let me tell you it was fire. The place was packed so our meals took a while which is fine because they say it on the menu. Also had half a dozen oysters and blackened fish fresh catch of the day in a sandwich with cheese grits that were amazing. I’m definitely coming back to try other menu items

  3. From what I hear, this is a fun place to be on special occasions like New Year’s Eve and the Christmas boat parade, so I stopped by to check it out on a normal week day. There is a small covered patio-style outdoor seating area that offers a view of the water and bridge with a dirt parking lot in between. Indoors seemed to be a mixture of local watering hole and favorite lunch spot, pretty packed for a Tuesday afternoon. It’s a lot more casual than I expected. The service was excellent! The food was as well, no complaints. I had the tuna sashimi and a ginormous slice of peanut butter pie, which was insanely delicious! I have mixed feelings, because it felt like a very casual beach bar with higher end food and service. My reviews of waterfront restaurants lean pretty heavily on the atmosphere and the view, and I felt it was lacking a bit in those areas, thus the 4-star rating. Next time I’ll leave my expectations behind and I’ll just enjoy the friendly service and the food. If I lived closer, I’d try everything on the menu at least twice.

  4. Amazing! If I’m in Florida, I’m making at least one stop here. The food is amazing! I get the fritters and the tuna every time. They were out of the seared tune so I got the tuna tar tar. The dinner specials are always delicious so I highly suggest going for dinner with a big appetite. The portions are very large and I always feel like the price is so nice! Honestly such a good price for the quality.

  5. One of our favorite places to eat in the area. Due to the pandemic, it has been a few years since we’ve been down here. But it has only gotten better!

Outstanding service. The outdoor deck has gotten better over the years, as the plants around it have grown up.

The food is elevated bar food. And it is excellent. The “Sweet Swine” is an outstanding appetizer. It is basically four strips of very thick cut candied crispy bacon with coarse black pepper, suspended over a large sprig of rosemary and a dill pickle. At the table the bacon and rosemary are torched. The smoke enhances the flavor of the bacon, and the drippings drip down on the dill pickle. Interesting concept, and very tasty. The lobster Mac and cheese is technically an appetizer, but is easily enough for a full meal. It is loaded with lobster, and it is the dish that we actually drive an hour and a half for. The calamari is also excellent, although the marinara sauce is only average.

Cocktails consist of beer and wine only. No mixed drinks. We are not beer drinkers, but there is a wide variety of wines, and prosecco splits.

    Highly recommended!

Super nice place to go sit and relax and have a wonderful lunch. Service was great draft beer selection could be better but on all the drinks were good. I had the dolphin melt and it was excellent, however the fish and chips were greasy. Must have been a bad day for the fryer but I’d go back.

This is my second time eating from here and the food is always delicious. First time I ordered fish sandwiches to go and this time we decided to eat in. Our server was fast and friendly and again every we order was hot, fresh and delicious. The only issue we had was that there are SOOO many ants that we spend the entire time guarding our food and drinks from the ants. There were crawling all over us , the plates and drinks. Maybe it was our table. I would recommend but keep the ants in mind.

Very laid back beach bar. We had calamari, which was good. Sauce was a little strange, some kind of a mustard white sauce. I added some ketchup that kicked it up a notch. Drink prices were reasonable.

People next to us had some good looking food, crab cakes and a big sandwich.

I’d try it again, if we’re in a tank top and flip flop mood, but hey, it’s the beach ⛱

After a not so pleasant experience at a neighboring restaurant we came to Archie’s on a whim. The atmosphere is seat yourself so we did. We were greeted right away and had our drinks within minutes. Servers were attentive and our drinks and food were delicious! It was our first time here but not the last!

Nice place near the water to relax and have a nice food and drinks. Plenty of parking space in the premises, good service and mostly, good food. The Mahi fish basket was fresh and nice, so was parmesan chicken wings. French fries were a little bit soggy (hence -0:5🌟). Overall—nice and breezy, will definitely see you guys again.

    Exceptional food! Gorgeous view!

The scallops, shrimp, muscles and clams were cooked to perfection in my paella. My husband’s ribs w/mango BBQ sauce were fall-off-the-bone fantastic!

They have a gluten-free menu with LOTS of options! Your choice of appetizers, salads and several entrees!

We saw three manatees and a lot of lizards out the window!

Great, I ordered a Turkey BLT. They nailed it, and was above expectations. Tasted excellent, and enjoyed the scenic environment. Expect average customer service, but nothing above and beyond. No negatives to point out, so I can rate highly of the establishment. A little expensive but that is expected.

Surprisingly great food for that post-beach hunger. The fish sandwich I had would rival that of much nicer/upscale restaurants. The staff were very friendly and attentive. It was just a great experience all around.

Denise was so much fun and such a good bartender. Made my drink perfectly.
We ordered the Fried Clam Strips and they were delicious.
The view is so beautiful. No complaints at all.
    We will be back.

Nice place. Very friendly staff. The cocktail I had was okay. I thought my crab cake was a little too browned but was still delicious. Crab stuffed shrimp was great. Sea salt scrub in the bathroom left me smoother than a baby’s butt.

The waitress Kayla was very helpful, friendly. She checked up on us and our needs. The food was great, tasty, an abundant amount that you can’t finish 😋. The ambience is comfortable and fun. My cousin had the fish taco. The shrimp with grits was super flavorful. The provolone with tomatoes was a good appetizer.

Very good food and service. We shared a mussels appetizer which was very good. I had the chicken caesar wrap and my gf had the Ahi Tuna. Both were very good with the Ahi winning overall.
Caesar dressing was a little watery as was the ranch for my fries. Which is the reason for only 4 stars, otherwise it was a good experience.
    We will return.

Great place to get a drink with friends!! Tons of beers on tap and wine plus an extensive menu and a view from the back patio make this spot a jumping watering hole for a town that loves to drink. You’re greeted by a huge deer head with its plastic tongue lolling out in a silly grin over the hostess area behind a Chevy grill. License plates, antique signs and cool kitsch are everywhere.

We had the burger sliders with fries, the Vegetable Stacks, and a custom pizza. Everything was good. There were a couple minor notes in that the burger was not cooked medium as requested and the olives on the pizza were Kalamata, not black as requested. But overall the food was good and we ate it all.

A good time was had by all.

Great restaurant and bar to visit at any time , i usually do work lunches , but it can be fun during the weekend as well. Service is always on point , food is good and the beer is always cold. You can see the water from the Back tables and or you can stay fresh on the inside as well, there is a bar outside and inside as well.

Beautiful day so I sat on the outside back deck. Gator bites were pretty good. Some more chewy than others. The Shrimp and Cheesy Grits were fantastic. I’m used to a more Cajun twist but these hit the spot just perfectly. More than I could finish. The side of cornbread is not to be left out! The most tasty and the perfect amount of moisture in a cornbread that I’ve had in a long while. Will be back here again soon.

Nice chill atmosphere and wonderful food. Bring your own straw though! I’d say the tuna nachos are really good as well as the peanut butter chocolate dessert. The Cuban sandwich and caramel cheesecake were okay but the fries are seasoned and yummy!

Overall experience was good. My husband ordered one of their specials, the Fried Hog fish Sandwich and it was tasty. I ordered the Tuna Poke bowl, which was delicious! Only things that bothered me a bit were: the $9 kids menu items that I felt were a tad overpriced but no big deal. I also ordered two margaritas (Monday’s special) and my first one was super sweet and tasted like all mixer and the second one was so bitter and tasted like straight alcohol. Very inconsistent on the pour and taste. But, I would recommend this place to a friend and I’m sure we will be back!

Went for early dinner and sat outside by the marina. Let server know we’d like to order everything at once since our son as an “expiration date” in terms of sitting still through a meal. The server had everything to us in less than 10 minutes! I was surprised how fast the food came and everything was perfect. I ordered the Cuban (pictured below) with Coconut Shrimp. My wife had calamari and shrimp tacos. Our son had a cheese quesadilla.

I don’t understand the other negative reviews about food quality and service – both were exceptional. Then I saw a woman sitting next to us complaining about some minor mistake with her order and treating the wait staff like trash, so with that context, I would just ignore the negative reviews that have been posted here. My wife and I have fairly high standards and this place was great, can’t wait to go back – maybe next time with our boat!

Friendly service and a great atmosphere. The food selection was great and I had a tough time deciding what to order. The Shrimp and Grits were delicious but thin; However, this didn’t stop me from licking the bowl…
