This is a Sam’s Club so you know what you’re getting when you go in. However out of all the ones that I’ve been to this one is really clean and well organized. Had plenty of check out the open and a very helpful person at the self-checkout area. They come in to the work area from the main store floor and start preparing the food. What’s the use of wearing gloves if you use the same gloves to empty the trash and then prepare the food. Dirty tables and the fountain soda area needs frequently cleaning. I truly love Sam’s cafe, but I choose to walk away healthy than to take a chance being sick from filth. Kept at 80 degrees regardless of humidity. Was super hot this summer. Solid coconut oil and other skin care products heated up and leaked, ruined!

The background check company is sitting at a desk halfway across the country preventing qualified candidates from working. Additionally, they sell alcohol; alcohol kills almost 100,000 per year and wastes 250 billion in the US alone. Their prices aren’t as good as Wal-Mart and they waste shareholder money on “Accurate” Background investigations. I went in 45 minutes before they closed just to pick my car up and they were actually working on it as I walked in and 10 minutes later I was out the door I highly recommend taking your car to them. It’s better then it used to be.the company can use all new leadership. So worried about political correctness that quality suffers on the service. Hire based on qualifications not because you are afraid to get sued as it appears you are hiring. I have owned my business since 1992. Some of the disasters I have seen at scholastic could have been avoided with a stronger HR team that will hire more then just warm breathing bodies. In manufacturing it’s all about production and quality. Not everyone can do it if you want to be profitable. Scholastic is a great place for someone starting out with nowhere to go but up. But it’s a brick wall if you are someone that has the ability to help manage the changes to make the plant better.
