The food was delish. Beautiful restaurant and decor with a cute outdoor patio. We had a terrible waitress that never checked on us, but she checked on her other tables. She did a great job of making us feel invisible. I don’t want to say it was because we were the only people of color dining in at the time, but it sure felt like it. So we definitely will not be back.👎👎By Matilda Rios (5 months ago)Super delightful gluten-free vegan burger! Love that the patty is housemade! With yummy, fresh ingredients including walnuts. I also loved the sweet potatoes and they have a super tasty housemade pesto you can add as a side to anything- highly recommend! 🤩 #veganburgerBy Violet Ravotti (a month ago)I’m not from the area. My girlfriend lives here. I’m in for the weekend and she said we HAD to go and eat at her favorite restaurant. I had the vegan burger which was incredible. We split the hummus which was also great. I forgot to take pics before, so here’s the after. 😋 We had Merry Machata’s to drink. Everything was delicious!!!By Tobi Bowen (a year ago)I love true food kitchen! Most of the food is really healthy and you feel good after eating it. I used to pick up the ancient grains bowl from here when I was training for nationals. Gives you the right carbs, fats, and healthy fiber. All while tasting delicious.
We got a kale aid juice along with edamame dumplings (these things are so so amazing). We usually get two orders of the dumplings because everyone fights over them. This time we tried the cauliflower appetizer and it was sooo good. Definelty recommend giving it a chance.
For entree I got the ancient grains bowl. We got the mushroom pizza and spaghetti squash which were both great.
By Alexandra Hart (8 months ago)It’s one of the finest restaurants to have healthy food. Additionally, they have enough options for vegetarians. Two Reasons to go to this place:
1. Good food 🍱 of course
2. Impeccable service. If possible ask for “Ariella” as your server. She is fantastic and will help you out if you have any confusion in terms of ordering, lol 😂 however she is really kool person at this location. My recs for Vegetarian 🌱 (p.s – I’m vegetarian :- no meat and no fish)
1. Edamame Dumplings 🥟 – It has dashi, white truffle oil, herbs (270 cal). It’s really delicious and my go to starters.
2. Herb Hummus – It has cucumber, cherry tomato, onion, olive, feta, lemon oregano vinaigrette & house-made pita (710 cal). It’s good in taste however Edamame always comes first.
3. Good Earth Kale Cobb salad 🥗 – it’s one of the best salad that has cashew poblano ranch, romaine, avocado, cucumber, pickled jicama, corn, cherry tomato, gorgonzola, crispy chickpea, hemp seed (500 cal), I always ask to add tofu. I also recommend to have this salad with mozzarella cheese instead of blue cheese.
4. The O.G. drink which has ginger, honey, lime. It’s best to beat this burning hot weather. All three ingredients are good for throat as well.Thank you!

This place was really cute! The food was fresh, healthy and delicious! The atmosphere was super calming and hipster. It was about $40 for the two of us, but my husband got steak and we both ordered drinks. I loved the decorations and the fresh flowers at our table. The staff was super nice. Will definitely be back!By T W (9 months ago)First time at this place and had a good lunch! It’s a beautiful fresh and airy place with awesome vegetarian and vegan options. It’s possible to customize dishes based on preference. I loved the serving bowls and food styling.
The location is proximate to busy spots and brings in the crowd. Though we didn’t have a reservation, got a table almost immediately. There are tables and booth seating as well.Lots of parking and easy access.
Beverage options were good and refreshing tea as well. The line to order was moving quick. Staff was friendly and clarified questions on menu items. I’m looking forward to try some new entrées the next time.
Definitely recommend!By Radha Pradeep (3 months ago)Flower Child is a fun healthy food spot that has delicious options. I had the Thai dye wrap which was delicious but I needed to add some hot sauce to spice it up. I also really liked the Mac and cheese and brocolli with parmesan. My partner had the chicken enchiladas, brown rice chicken soup and the baked salmon with Mac and cheese. She enjoyed everything but the soup had her returning the next day for more.Overall, I may return if I want some healthier options.

Parking 5/5By Andrew Anderson (3 months ago)I am new in town, and I found this little gem on my way home. I jet to be disappointed; every meal I had tried was delicious. I am changing my diet to vegan due to health issues, but ain’t nothing boring about the vegan diet. This restaurant has made My transition to vegan easier. For beginners try The glow bowl tasted like I was eating an Asian dish full of cabs and meat. But there was nothing but veggies and no meat. Yummy!
The earth bowl is also unique. Not to mention the fresh green tea. 5 star, thank you, now you have become part of my healing process. Prices are very affordable and you are eating a very healthy meal. Keep it up! 🎉By Janet McLaughlin (4 months ago)Flower Child is one of my favorite Dallas restaurants! The atmosphere is friendly and light, the food always tastes so good and fresh, is very beautifully prepared and the workers are always really kind! I love the Mother Earth bowl but decided to try the Glow Bowl this time! Highly recommend both! They have lots of options for different delicious foods! My friends and I all ordered a healthy dinner from here. The bowl I had was so flavorful and fresh. All the fruit and granola was so delicious. Everyone else loved their food too.By out2eatfood (12 months ago)This is the BBQ chicken chop salad and I was given more lettuce than anything else. My order was for to-go and it was frustrating when I sat down to eat to see that this $11 salad was hardly made up of anything. It’s a trendy concept for eating nutritious meals but wouldn’t recommend coming here for salads.By Sade Oseni (a month ago)What can I say? I absolutely ❤️ love, love, love ❤️ this place! The food is always good and a healthy choice for dine in or takeout. It feels a bit like the old television show Cheers where everyone knows my name and order. I have tried and true standard orders, but try new things from time to time.
It’s all tastes good and I always receive great service. The atmosphere is relaxing and the daily daisies always put a smile on my face. The manager is leads her team with integrity and a passion for the customer. I’ve watched her handle tough situations (although rarely) and as well as pass on compliments given to her to those who work there.
You won’t be disappointed!
By Stephanie Tackett (a month ago)First time here visiting from Houston. I ordered the chicken kale with multi grain bread. One of the best looking and tasting sandwiches I’ve ever had.By Ammar Selo (7 months ago)This was my first time at the original chop shop. I was very pleased with the food and service. Everything was flavorful and fresh. The atmosphere was also very calming and relaxed. My only wish was that there was a closer location to where I live in SW Fort Worth because it’s about an hour away. I will definitely return again.By LaNeika Johnson (a year ago)

Our food was amazing. Fresh and made to order. Never had sweet potatoe fries until now. Salad was crisp and cold. Will be returning again.By Michelle Perales (a month ago)Me and my partner got wraps, I got the tuna and he got some kind of chicken wrap and they were delicious. Also got the fruit as a side, it was mostly pineapple but I’m okay with that. Got the eggplant dip and it was terrible. Was bitter and oddly flavored, I’m a fan of traditional baba ganoush and have had a variety of dips from other restaurants but I would definitely not get this one again.By Naomi Robinson (2 months ago)Clean location, great service and good-looking food. I’m rating 4 🌟 simply because we did NOT enjoy our meal. I understand Unleavened’s concept just fine, but it was very bland. The flavor (or lack there of) is not for everyone’s palette. The fruit was delicious 😬🤷🏿♀️By Brittany McClendon (a year ago)I highly enjoy this spot but let me tell you how happy I was when I went to place an order for avocado toast, that just days prior I had paid $6.50 for, to find out they are charging $9.65 for on Uber eats. Shouldn’t it be the same at least if I’m going out of my way to pick it up??By Emily Alvidrez (2 months ago)Don’t come here if you have a food allergy. Staff is not educated on allergens in food/condiments. I called and asked about an item, was told it was fine, and then found out it indeed did have what I had called to ask about after eating it. Was offered a refund or gift card and have yet to receive either. Allergy information is also not listed on website. 2 stars because food is good otherwise.By Jackie Olko (5 months ago)

Good deal for a healthy filling meal and welcoming atmosphere.
Pros:
– well trained staff
– allergy accommodating
– clean and spacious
– well lit
– fast prep
– fresh ingredients
– consistent qualityCons:
– loud and sometimes distracting
– low menu customizability
– mild flavorsThoughtful and inspired menu with fresh choices for a modern palette. The bright colors and comfortable atmosphere offer a welcome reprieve from the bustling streets of downtown Dallas. The food is timely and well presented for an overall pleasant experience. I recommend this place for friends or solo lunch options, not for meetings.
By Daniel Puckett (3 months ago)Been to many Flower Child’s & been loyal since they had the only location in Scottsdale AZ. This Dallas downtown location has such a beautiful interior and setting. The service was great and food was brought so quickly. I love the menu and the food is usually consistent, but this location the dishes were overly salted and tasted slightly like the grill lighter fluid / a bit greasy :(. But other than that it’s a wonderful spot.By ** (2 weeks ago)Fresh, light, and delicious food. Do you and your stomach a favor and give this place a try. We enjoyed the street corn, mimosas, salad and an entrée meal. I’m jealous this place isn’t near my hometown because we’d be eating here every week.By ki3L (4 months ago)Wow, this spot is super cool refreshing spot. There are some solid vegan/vegetarian options. However, I was a little shocked with the tofu. It appears to be completely unseasoned, so I put it on top of my delicious ginger miso crunch salad and it worked perfectly. The quinoa either sweet corn and the mashed potatoes were excellent. The decor and vibe her are so fresh and saturated with plants and soft colors (greens, dusty rose, wicker).By Dr. William Starsiak (8 months ago)I love Flower Child in general, but this location for some reason gives a slightly different vibe (a good one). This location is a bit larger than the others I’ve gone to, but still beautiful on the inside. The staff was super nice; shout-out to Iyana at the front. She was amazing! If you’re concerned about parking, park in the garage connected to Flower Child. Also, if you’re there less than 2 hours, be sure to ask them about your parking voucher.By Amanda Handsbur (4 months ago)
