As with Portia’s Diner, the cafe calls to those with a willingness to enjoy, perhaps expand their palette; at least, that’s my case. Super friendly folks and finely made food with fresh, quality ingredients. The cafe has a more robust menu and more seating, both places are wonderful.

My goodness, I just ate a veggie gyro and I am thinking about ordering another one. The flavor was outstanding and with that added pickel and sauce. I would definitely suggest giving this place a visit.

Great server, really good food, and an awesome environment. They have a huge all vegan menu with a bunch of different breakfast options, unique coffee and latte blends, an extensive list of smoothie and dessert options as well. Definitely try their rosemary home fries!

Great breakfast date at Portia’s Cafe. I was feeling a bit blah before arriving but this turned my morning around. The food is great – healthy, tasty and filling!

We tried the vegetable curry soup, the burrito and rosemary potatoes. They have a good selection of smoothies and drinks. I had a local-blend peppermint tea by @crimsoncupcoffee and Sean tried the mushroom “coffee.”

Love this clean vegan eating! I had the breakfast bowl and it was delicious!! My sister had a waffle and that was the tastiest, fluffiest waffle ever! Yum!

    Just wow!
    I absolutely love Chop 5!
You can have your salad made any way you want or pick something from the menu and tweak it if you want.
I like the Harvest Chop and then I add the seasonal veggies to it. It was Brussel sprouts which were so good but now it’s asparagus which I also love.
Everything is clean and inviting. Drinks are delicious too.
Their app is great too and makes ordering ahead for pickup super easy.
I would highly recommend parking in the back lot if you come around lunch time! You’ll be glad you did because it’s in a very busy plaza and next to a Starbucks.

Amazing options, large portions and very fresh. My husband grumbled about going to a “salad place” and then told everyone at the game it was pretty good. It is better than good! Sweet potato chipotle salad for the win!

Boyfriend and I went here last night. Was super excited for something wilted and soggy and left with the complete opposite, The lettuce was crisp and fresh. there wasn’t a hair in my salad bowl AND my boyfriends, to be fair they look like they were well staffed and super friendly. But 4.20 bucks for a fresh salad with no hair in it? No thanks. Not Coming back here.

The name is “Chop 5”and is known for “Salads and Bowls”I wasn’t able to correct the name Salad Kitchen should be as the type of restaurant. The salads are huge you can add rice spinach, 5 different toppings and choose of meat, and a large variety or salad dressing. Friendly and fast service very good, and a large quantity. They have a reward program to get a free bowl! Clean ,organize eye appealing place!

Great concept…choose your own bowl or salad (may add more ingredients) and then get it “chopped” into small pieces on a chop-board! The staff was very friendly despite us arriving 10 minutes before closing time. The Mediterranean salad was delicious…

Everything about our visit was perfect. Service was helpful, friendly and prompt. The food was amazing. Everything we tried was creative, perfect presentation and tasted incredible. Highly recommend, especially for someone with a moderately adventurous pallette.

This restaurant was pretty hard to find a reservation for Saturday night but when I tell you it’s worth the wait, it definitely was. The food was amazing! It’s weird that they can make healthy food taste like heaven 😂

Definitely worth a visit and we have been back since our first. In my experience I cannot complain about anything, And I tend to keep a balanced view… A healthy option that indulges well in richer or otherwise veggie and vegan dishes and of course beyond. Something for meat eaters and vegetarians alike. Some really nice aromatic pairings, be it Greek or Indian or a fusion of modern European and American. Mostly the menu is fairly simple, bright and enthusiastic staff, fast service and some modern and convenient bells and whistles in terms of menu and check access through QR. They also have some lovely cafe and coffee/espresso options. We really loved the hummus! The curry dish as well and our fruity spritzers and health drinks. It makes a delicious and savory meal out of whole health foods. We will be back.

Great idea of this place being a healthy option and the restaurant is in a good location at Easton. Sadly the bowl we ordered was way too salty and the Brussels sprouts we ordered with the spices on side still had it on after we ordered without. Butternut squash soup was oddly sweet too. None of the dishes really stood out as well. Slurping turtle across the street is awesome though so I’d go there!

Amazing food. Very health conscious and beautifully made. Wonderful choices for vegetarians and omnivores alike. Sydney was our server and was wonderful. Everything came out timely and deliciously. I ordered the turkey burger with sweet potatoes. I’m drooling just remembering it. Their tea is amazing too. Very happy for such a lovely visit, we will be back!!

I cannot say enough good things about this place!! I got the potato skins and the Nashville hot chicken pizza and I will likely come back tomorrow for takeout. The pizza is the best pizza I’ve ever eaten, and I don’t mean just vegan pizza but any pizza. Everything came out at the perfect temperature and it was clearly cooked to order. You can tell they really care about quality by how beautiful and delicious the food is. The service was friendly and helpful without being overbearing, and I know it’s personal taste but the fact that the music was all 90s slow jams during my visit really put a bow on the whole experience for me. If I could give more than five stars I gladly would.

First time eating here today. It’s all vegan! I can say it was worth the wait! I ordered the French toast; todays special was strawberry cheesecake. Also ordered the sausage and rosemary omelette and it was exquisite. Last but not least, the breakfast bowl and I wasn’t disappointed. Will be back again!!

everything I ordered was awesome. Half order of nachos. 50-50 pizza half Nashville chicken half veggie supreme. I got my desserts to go. Chocolate peanut butter cup chocolate peanut butter brownie and s’mores cookie. The waitress and staff were all very nice. I am looking forward to going back next time I am in town. I am thankful to all vegans and all vegan restaurants. This one was especially enjoyable.

My first time trying and I had really high hopes based off reviews but sadly I was not satisfied especially for the price. I ordered online the breakfast Sammie with French toast as the bread and it’s suppose to come with 2 hash browns and ketchup. First when I picked up my food was just in a plastic bag I thought for the price it would come in a box or something nicer but that’s not the problem. The sandwich was not as hot the cheese was not melted. Taste wise it was okay. The hash browns were had burnt pieces but it tasted as if these were cooked yesterday and reheated today and served to me. They were giving stale . The portion size is small for the price. They make you give a 15% tip online but I was not satisfied at all with this order. Maybe dinning is in better but I won’t know because I probably won’t return. If I didn’t have to rush to my appointment I would’ve taken this back completely . Also no ketchup was given as mentioned no napkins or anything just a cup of syrup . I wish I got better pictures of the hash browns the back side was very burnt. Part of the one hash brown is still in the bag.

Don’t miss out on this gem! The atmosphere is warm and inviting. French Toast Sticks are absolutely amazing. Drinks and Vrunch Wrap were wonderful as well. Vegans and non-vegans alike will love the food. Great service.

My first visit here was for brunch when they were relatively new. Everything was excellent, but they’ve since stopped serving brunch, so I won’t go into much more detail. The only downside was they were really busy/popular and ran out of a few menu items. Overall, this place has a very appealing menu with hearty/organic/quality ingredients. Flavors and ingredient combos are on point; nothing on your plate is boring! The dates in the Mediterranean bowl were an unexpected, but thoughtful touch that made the dish excellent. They have a cool drink menu; you can get cocktail bar creativity, even without the booze. Carryout and curbside delivery are lightning fast. All-around, you’re getting healthy food that doesn’t taste healthy; you’ll pay a premium for it, but it’s worth it. SOW Plated has been added to my list of go-to spots for quick dinner!

The experience here was great. Friendly service with a lot of really unique and cool menu items. We got the pad Thai and the chicken caprese sandwich. The sandwich wasn’t anything amazingly special but the pad Thai was awesome. Also the atmosphere was charming and the coffee drink and raspberry tea were fantastic if a little costly.

This restaurant was so fun! Lots of healthy and veggie filled food. Definitely unique fare. I tried two non-alcoholic drinks. The yuzu lemon 🍋 drink was DELICIOUS. The bean sprout dumplings were good: dumpling wrapper was better than most, the inside was okay (I usually like meat fillings so take that with a grain of salt), the peanut sauce set the dish apart. Nice atmosphere. The waitstaff was helpful. The waitress was happy to bring soup samples. I tried the special–a curry soup. It was quite bland even when I added salt. I was happy to try it though! I would definitely go back.

    Food taste great here.

Given all the healthy options here I am surprised taste was not compromised. The first thing i noticed is that food is not over-salted the way most restaurants do. The flavors of the ingredients shine through, so give it a chance before asking for salt, especially the chicken.
Mac and cheese is yummy and creamy with cashew sauce. If you like tofu the option to add seared firm tofu adds a nice bite with light soy flavors. Oh btw, the tomato in the hummus is my fav- taste like a garden tomato from my grandma’s garden … so good except there is only a halfie

    Happy eating

Fresh with many organic and gluten free options. Reasonably portioned and priced. They offer creative and healthy cold pressed cocktails— try the beet. It is to die for! The various dining nooks allow for privacy and add character in the mostly open contemporary design. Happy to have uncovered this causal, yet elegant gem tucked away in Upper Arlington. An ideal “go-to” spot!
