Today two CottageCare employees did a wonderful job cleaning our home! They got our white porcelain kitchen sink sparkling and like new again. The manager even stopped by to do an inspection on how the employees were cleaning. I have been pleased with each cleaner CottageCare has sent to clean our home. The local office continues to do a great job communicating with me about upcoming cleanings (I get reminder texts the Friday before and the day before.) and always asking for any feedback on the cleanings. There is something about walking into a clean house, especially seeing the gleaming hardwood floors that lifts your spirits. I feel that I can trust the cleaners in my home when we are not there. 3 months agoHaving to ask for areas to be re-cleaned more than once does not reflect the standards and quality that two maids advertises. Though professional in appearance and arrival the quality of their cleaning lacks. Overpriced service for a job that wasn’t completed with the quality cleanliness I thought I was getting. They wipe around messes for example I had soaps and lotions on my sink. Instead of removing the items and cleaning the sink and wiping/scrubbing any dirt scum and then placing the items back they just wipe around it. The shower walls still had soap scum and spots and had to ask to re-clean. After I checked the second time I didn’t want to readdress to clean the shower handle as well so just got irritated and dismissed them since they said they were done. They said there was a quality inspector that can come but since I was there they didn’t need the inspector. The time they took was only an hour and 15 min. A deep clean should at least take 2 hours.5 months agoUnfortunately out of 4 of these cleans two of them have been absolutely poorly done and uncomfortable and unprofessional. My first clean, many items that I paid for were not complete including baseboards, and dusting of my furniture where it obviously needed it … there were 3 people here to do this small job mind you. The worst part was the male cleaner who eyed me and kept smiling at me any chance he could get, and then tried to match with me on a dating site saying “don’t I know you from somewhere;)” . I reported this and this team was not sent to my place again.Most recent clean which was a “touch up” not requiring as deep a clean but does wipe countertop, dust, dishes , and trash. The two cleaners were in and out in 25 minutes, leaving my sink full of dishes, my kitchen countertops not wiped down, and not a towel folded or a de-cluttering of obvious trash like a torn piece of a box left on the counter . I was refunded a portion of my payment for this.
My apartment is modern… 560 square feet, Living room , kitchen, bed, and bath (all fairly small!) and these cleans cost between $130-$175
This is clear negligence . They are well staffed and clearly not fact checking their cleaners. Why DONT you require they take photos of their clean?! Fortunately my photos were honest but anyone could ruin the place after they leave and they’d have no proof to say it wasn’t Two maids . In this case, photos would not have helped them as it would t shown the negligence .

9 months agoWe used New Image for a top to bottom cleaning after having new floors installed. There was dust everywhere from the install, but New Image took care of it! They were right on time, and the price was great. Our house looks amazing. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for home cleaning. They forgot to do an entire room in the home and the drawers looked like they had never been cleaned as there was still debris in them. Additionally the fans were all still caked with dust. UPDATE: It’s been 10 months since my initial review, and The Cleaning Authority still gets 5 stars. Yesterday, Steph and Abbey did an amazing job. Not only did they do a fine job of cleaning, they added extra touches that really added pizzazz. Had random dishes and placemats on the dining room table, and they set the table with them. My bathroom towels are folded like a fancy hotel. They are always super friendly. The little things really make a difference.
Chimere, Jaydi, and Lisa did an outstanding job yesterday. It’s good to know we can depend on them to show up and keep our house looking great. Have been using The Cleaning Authority for years and always pleased. I can’t do it with the efficiency that they can. Highly recommend.
Toni and Karla did a fantastic job cleaning my home. They were on-time, extremely thorough, and so pleasant. We are very happy with The Cleaning Authority.
Even though we don’t have the same crew every time, it’s hard to tell because the cleaning is consistent. If there is ever an issue or something was missed, Cathy and her teams address it quickly. I appreciate the level of customer service and the friendliness of the entire staff. I’ll also add that they work quickly while not missing the essentials.
Amanda is consistent and does an excellent job, so much so, we are having clean my mom’s condo.
