So far I’ve had a positive experience! I purchased my car here and always come to the SLO location for maintenance even though I live in North County for their service. My car had a paint manufacturing issue and getting it resolved and repainted was a breeze. They have always followed through with their promises and have operated with integrity during my experience which I cannot say for other dealerships I’ve worked with. Recently worked with Jesus and appreciated his friendliness and approach.
I pulled in with a bad battery at 4:45 when they closed at 5:30. Honda Service found someone willing to stay late if necessary and got me a new battery with a 100 month warranty for a fair price. They got it done quickly and it has been working perfectly since then. The location is clean and safe and everyone was friendly and helpful.
I have been going to Sunset Honda for years, and yesterday I had the best customer service.
Matt was very knowledgeable and I appreciated his help. When I dropped my car off, he let me know what was going to be done along with the estimated price I would be paying that day so I didn’t have any surprises. He gave me a call when my service was done and briefed me about some issues my car was having but didn’t pressure me in anyway to get the work done.
When I picked up my car, he explained things in depth to me but in a way I could understand. He even printed out pictures for me to take home. It was great to have a representative that was transparent, honest, and not pushy. I was treated with nothing but kindness and I appreciated Matt being very positive and thorough, he went above and beyond.
I also went on a day where they brought in catering for customers and employees, and that meant a lot as a customer. Everyone was super nice and welcoming, and I thought it was a great way to make everyone feel included.
I purchased a used vehicle over the weekend from Sunset Honda and Josh, our salesperson, did a great job helping me. I had very specific requirements that I learned were challenging to address and assumed I was going to need to purchase an expensive new car to be happy. I sat in many cars, new and used, Honda and not Honda and the best fit was a three year old used Jetta they had with special pricing. Josh cared most about me finding what I needed for any car on the lot, new or used. If you need a car and a great person to help you choose, ask for Josh.
