If I could give no star I would. I should of returned when had the chance never knew the problems that would pop up from this car. I regret ever coming here. I have had my car since April 17,2023 now even 5 months and has been nothing but problems might have to just sell for parts n buy another. I paid cash for this car after I had lost my other car in an accident. Within the first month I had came up with the problem underneath my engine where as you can tell they rigged it together with zip ties and was missing lots of bolts. Which they did fix under warranty but when I took the car in I let them know that at that time I was having problem with losing coolant. They said they checked it out it wasn’t a problem they couldn’t find no leak or problem. I still to this day lose coolant. I made them aware I was having problems with what I thought was the battery was told all is good. I didn’t get extended warranty which was my biggest mistake but then again was not informed about it much and didn’t expect such major problems in 5 months. I did have basic warranty they offer which is why I went and got it checked out right away after noticing after about a week about the problems. I was left unresolved and know I am here with a car that has major problems that I will have to put another few thousands into after already giving almost $20000 for this vehicle. I will never recommend anyone to here or ever do business with them again I feel they robbed me and I am stuck without a working vehicle for the second time. This is so sad to go through but lesson learned on my part. I will never trust this company again.

First time I buy from CarMax as I usually buy certified pre-owned from dealership, but my experience with CarMax was excellent. From the shipping process of the vehicle I wanted to the customer service and my trade in process. The process was smooth and I’d recommend them to anyone who is unsure of buying from here. My trade in offer was above other offers. I’m very happy with my new vehicle! And the 30 day warranty seals the deal!
Stay away from CarMax!!! I have had the worst experience from the beginning. I purchased my car 3 months ago. It started to give me issues with electrical problems and I had reported it to a lady ant CarMax, and she said to wait until it happened more times. Yesterday, my car left me stranded at work. I was able to jump start it and took it to CarMax thinking my 90 day warranty was still good. Come to find out that i was no longer under the warranty and now transitioned to extended warranty. Now, I have to pay $250 for the deductible plus things that are not covered under the warranty . I can’t believe I am having to pay this on a new car. A car that they told me was in great condition. When I first bought it they gave me the run around and ended up telling me they lost the title so I was gonna have to get another car. A few hours later they found the title and I was able to buy that car. I think that was all a lie. Stay away from CarMax! It’s a headache working with them.

I’m very pleased with my experience at CarMax like my parents were and will definitely recommend them to my friends when they’re shopping for a used vehicle.
