I bought my car here a while back and later came to find out that my car was in 3 car accidents before I bought it, one of them being labeled as “severe structural damage” and this car I have was only able to get approved for a car loan here in Utah because the car accidents happened in Arizona. Please be safe out there this place is a scam, they only want your money and you might later find out that you’re stuck paying a clean title car loan like I am. Please be safe and do your research if you still decide to go here. This car I have can’t even be sold to dealerships and it’s not worth enough money on private party either. They will do whatever it takes to have you buy a car from them once you’re there so please just be aware of that and be careful.
I would give a “0” if possible. Numerous others are victims of Action Auto scam! Just look at the BBB reviews and complaints! Action Auto is lying about my situation to BBB. They claimed to have had the car we bought fo through a 200 point inspection, yet the car overheated when we arrived with it at our home. We took it to a Subaru service center for diagnostics. It was reported to have numerous defects which we showed the report to Action Auto afterwards. They claimed they could fix it. 1 week later, they said it was fixed but REFUSED to give us the repair order to document what they supposedly repaired! We drove it home and it overheated AGAIN! So we took it to another Subaru service department for diagnostics. They reported the same defects! And that it was UNSAFE to drive! Air bags could go off at any minute! There were so many error codes, including evidence of an accident, that it cannot be repaired! We informed Action Auto about it, telling them we just need our trade in car back, and return the UNSAFE car. They ignored so we are suing. They had also REFUSED to give us a warranty at purchase, claiming the car wasn’t eligible! Bottom line id Action Auto knowingly sold us an UNSAFE car and refuses to do the right thing by letting us get our drive able car back! They are scam artists and CANNOT be trusted! Beware people!
I’m writing this on behalf of me and my close friend who both purchased a car here from action auto, my friend first who bought her car in November has been having numerous problems with the car, I do believe they easily took advantage of her because she’s a teenage girl. They tried to cover up the damages by saying it was “small” structural damage only for her to find out the car is basically undrivable as of today, she’s gone to three different places, THREE. So many times she reached out to fix the issues and they are a pain to reach (that’s if you can even reach them. They claim they go through some unreliable inspection, if they were true, cars like my friends wouldn’t be sold. How is this fair? Yes used is used and there’s always a change something could go wrong but for them to sell a piece of garbage for 18k and call it good, they are such dishonest people. I hope that whoever decides to buy a car reads this review first, please don’t let yourself be fooled!! LIARS, it’s disgusting how they find pleasure in stealing peoples money. They need to be shut down. Action auto, how can you justify yourself? Doesn’t it make you feel sick knowing how you scam so many people. People do your research for better places to buy a car don’t waste your time or money here you might end up financially unstable after this.
