We have good enough credit to make it easier for them to make happen, so that also helped the process run smoothly. They had the vehicle we found on the website right on the lot. I had searched near and far at 3 other dealerships before landing at Della. The members of the team there that I worked with were excellent at hearing my requests, listening to my needs, and working with me to get a deal that I was comfortable. I never felt they were pushy at all and that is a huge plus when buying a car.
Zack was very helpful and took time to make me feel top priority, even when he was busy with other customers at the same time. Jon and Gary both were understanding and helpful as well to make this process smooth and enjoyable for me. I live an hour and a half away from the dealership, but would definitely return there to work with them in the future still. In general I am suspicious of Car Dealerships. I am nervous and expect to be lied to and made to feel like a sucker, certainly with me being a rather senior senior. I was relieved, then, to meet Zachary Miller, Sales Associate at DELLA Toyota in Plattsburgh, NY. Right from the start I knew I was dealing with somebody who would ASSIST me; not just sell (or con) me. Although maybe arbitrary, Zach did not “look” like a car salesman (although I would not be able to describe how such person looks like) My goal was to sell my present car and buy a used Toyota. With Zach’s help, I was able to hold on the minimum price I demanded for my Hyundai. He made me feel comfortable throughout and was patient explaining technical details of the vehicle. Important, because I know NOTHING about cars, other than that they (normally) have 4 wheels. What with my used Toyota hardly used, I felt more than satisfied with my buy. Zach is going to explain more about the Media stuff in the car next week, which shows that his care does not stop after I have handed over a check. All with all, a great experience. I am sure that there are other good sales persons at DELLA, but you know what, if you have any depredations about buying a car, go to that dealer and ask for Zachary Miller. Tell him I said hi.
Heather was outstanding to work with for my recent purchase. After I told her that I was a couple hours away and wanted to make a deal before making the trek, she did everything possible to make the process easy. Very friendly and quick responses and we had a deal agreed to mostly through emails and txts within a couple hours. When I arrived at the dealership, everything was ready to go, so there was no wasted time on pickup. John was also very easy to deal with, quick and to the point with finalizing the money part. After a very thorough review of all the features of my new tundra, I was extremely happy and on my way. Thank you!
Victor was my sales rep and he was great warming up the vehicle I wanted to try and making sure it was warmed for my wife and I and explaining all the different buttons and functions with patience and answering all our questions. Later when we picked our car up Victor was off and we worked with Jerrod who had the patience of a saint getting my phone paired as the primary after my wife mistakenly signed on first. It made things much more challenging to get corrected but Jerrod kept at it with a wonderful persistence and a sense of humor. For some reason my phone wouldn’t come up with a keyboard to enter names or codes so he ingeniously printed out the answers and used “scan text” and made it work. Fantastic job. The only reason this isn’t a five star review is Toyota Finance is terrible with their interest rates even when you have a 800 credit score. Mitch the finance guy was easy to work with and well prepared but he has to give you what Toyota is offering so I will refinance at the earliest opportunity.
