Purchased a truck from here 2 days ago. Check engine light came on already after taking a road trip. Also discovered that the horn and windshield washer doesn’t work either.
The purchasing of the truck was very smooth with no issues. Michael was our sales person and highly recommend talking with him.
I’m leaving 3 stars for now until my service appointment which will be day 6 of owning the truck.

10/31/ 23, went to the service department today. They gave me back my keys and said the managers had to talk about it. And they would call me. I asked if they was going to call me today, he said probably tomorrow. Then I had to ask why the check engine light was on. It’s on for the catalytic converter. No mention of about the horn and washer pump not working. I will update again once I get a phone call.

11/2/23 so 10am comes and I decide to give them a call to see what’s going on. Kyle looked up my information and told me parts have been ordered. I said ok and asked why no one has called me to let me know what was going on. He didn’t have an answer for me so I asked to talk to the boss. I’ll admit, I get hot headed at times especially when there’s a failure to communicate so I was most likely rude on the phone. The service manager (Josh) got on the phone and proceeded to tell me that they have ordered all the parts needed for the truck. Great! Service manager was rude on the phone and I’m sure I was as well. But that doesn’t give him the right to be rude to customers.
Update 11/14/23
Received a text message this morning from Josh stating that the parts for my truck arrived and to call or text him back to set up an appointment. I texted back. A couple hours went by so I called and ended up getting voicemail and left a message, I also texted again. Around 4pm I get a call back from Kyle and we got an appointment set up for this coming Monday.
Update 11/21/23
Went and picked my truck up today, I figured everything would be fixed. They got the new catalytic converter and windshield washer pump fixed, unfortunately the horn still isn’t working. They informed me that there was something wrong with the fuse block for the horn and their looking for a replacement. So now I wait again for them to call me when they have the part. Hopefully one more update and this review will be finished
I went there Saturday morning for an oil change. My car ran fine. After an hour and half they were finally done. I got in my car and the service engine lights were on. I put the car in drive and it went made a horrible sound and shifted extremely hard. I got out and went in and they told me that it was like that when they pulled it off the rack. Then proceeded to tell me that it must have just started it. Told me they could look at it but probably not to day. And it could not have been there fault because they don’t do anything to the transmission when servicing the car. I got mad and drove my broken car home about 2 blocks away and opened my hood and found where indeed it was there fault. When checking my air filter they forgot to hook the sensor back up so I plugged it back in and it worked fine again. I drove back and told them that it was there fault and I fixed it myself. All they could do was say sorry. They could of handled that so many different ways but they just acted like I was a liar when I told them it ran fine when I brought it in. Never again!
I have bought 7 cars from here and will still keep buying from Pilson’s and keep recommending my Amigos to buy from them.

I buy my cars at Pilson’s and nowhere else. prosses is very easy and fast. when you have found your dream car and are ready to sign, Chris will take you to Jason also a great guy he will offer you the best warranty available. Jason will ask you before you make that decision on getting into your dream car so when it comes to repairing your car you don’t have to pay that money that cost to fix a car now days. these cars are machines like any other machines, if the car that you bought has mechanical issues this is not the car lots fault if you happen to get a car with issues that is why we get warranty on our cars. it is better to have it and not needing it, than needing it and not having it. when it comes to the Ford service team (Misty and her team) they will take care of you with any questions or info that you need. when they finish working on your car they will call you or text you to give you the diagnose of your car. Me as a Mexican I can assure you that they make us feel welcome, I have sent over 50 people and all of them are extremally satisfied all Hispanic none have ever complained to me nor stated anything negative of the Pilson’s team. this place is family ran; the owner Jamie Pilson is normally walking around the Car lot as well.
So back in October of 22 I had to trade in my vehicle that I had just recently purchased due to it not being big enough to transport my grandkids after my son passed away. At the time they were staying with me and it was very needed. I trusted Chris Whitley wholeheartedly! He helped me find a minivan that was at a different location and I bought it. There were issues that I wanted fixed like a cracked windshield and a poor body work job, he insured me that his guys could do much better and would have it fixed. I also only received one key but he said he’d make sure to get the other key from the dealership and send it. Over a year has passed and still no key. I have had mechanical issues with the van, he has horses around and told me he’d get back to me in getting it in. Said he had a loaner, said he’d make sure I was taken care of, but yet he now claims he has no control on getting it in, he cannot have it towed, as he has said he would, and that he cannot get me a loaner. I have every text back and forth with this guy for over 2 years of dealing with him and buying 5 cars from him in this time. He is fake and can talk but that’s it. Don’t expect to get anything done with him. I know that there are others in there that I’ve heard great things about. And if he wouldn’t have screwed me over by lying and not fulfilling what he said I wouldn’t be making this post. But still today I am caring for my sons kids and need a reliable car and that’s not what he did. Knowing the circumstances I would never allow a customer to not having a vehicle as he has.
We’ve been to Pilson three times and have bought three different vehicles. Sales people were friendly and very helpful. Will go back when need for a new vehicle arises
