3 months agoMy wife and i bought a 2003 F250 from a pleasant gentleman, Tyler, here around a month ago and the car was sold to us with an unworking reverse headlight and the “door ajar” dash light on. We have reached out to our salesman with no response, which has been a consistency since we walked into Ford. We payed for service up to a certain mileage for maintenance things like oil changes and such, but when we call the service department we are told we “can’t possibly need an oil change yet”. We can’t get an answer on when we should need an oil change. As for the electrical problems like the reverse headlight and door ajar light, they want to charge $190 just for for a diagnostic on issues we have tried to report to our salesman, that were there when we got the truck. He assured us if anything was wrong to let him know and he would get us taken care of. We took the truck home after they held it in their shop for five days after we signed for it to ” fix some issues”. They didn’t fix them all and it makes me nervous they sold me a truck they know has problems. We have tried to reach out to them but it seems after they get your money they ignore you unless they can get more out of you and the service department gives you a hard time about getting service you have already payed for.We are not looking to be a bad customer relation, we love the parts of the truck that are taken care of we just want the confidence that comes with positive customer communication. We love the truck and our gentleman salesman Tyler helped us out when he didn’t have too, and for that we are so grateful. They even gave us an awesome new loaner car to get us where we needed to go until they were done double checking the truck. We just need what we payed for respected, but this is not a bad group of guys to get some wheels in a pinch!
4 months agoWhen I first came here seven years ago, I was not impressed. I am now impressed. They have improved immensely. I think they’re a great dealership now and a very good service department and kudos to them for their efforts and their quality of service now and believe me, I am a tough customer, I take care of my vehicles very well and I expect 100% quality service And I can say they are very close to that but like everything 100% is a lot to ask for but they are real close. Our sales associate was Christy. We’ve never known anyone more responsive and hard working. She’s obviously supported by a great staff. We will look forward to our next visit.2 years agoHad some trouble with my 2019 f150 needed a bigger truck Chris there in the sale Department hooked up a decent deal in the middle of thr crazy high prices and Devon in the service department made sure the recalls and a few other things where resolved. 2 months agoHad the trucks 100K service done recently. Asked that all fluids get checked and what were the recommended services for the mileage. The service desk lady could not give us an answer. After googling it, I had the oil changed, transfer case fluid changed and all fluids checked. During the out process there were several notes from the technician that performed the service. One of them was he didn’t check the transmission fluid level. I asked the rude lady behind the counter why he was unable to check the fluid. Her comment was she didn’t know. She then stated she would telephone me with what the technician had found and any issues. Two weeks now and no phone call. Worst service desk person I have ever met.

Joe, Vanessa, and the mechanics were amazingly generous and helpful in taking care of us when we broke down on the way to Burning Man. Our tow truck dropped us off in the parking lot after the service center had closed. We had valuable stuff on the roof and in the car, so we were going to call a taxi to do multiple trips to ferry our stuff to a motel. Plus it was raining. 🙁 The dealership was open and once Vanessa knew our predicament, she opened the garage and let us push our car into the shop. Plus she then drove us to our motel!
When I first called Joe to tell him we were broke down, I’d called two other shops and they both said that it would be two weeks until they could help us. Joe said, “Get down here!” It was such a relief!
We were 102 miles away, so Joe made his best guess based on the symptoms and made sure an alternator was available. The alternator proved to be only the first problem, so Joe and the mechanics worked on the puzzle until they had us fixed and ready to go!
Joe was great at keeping us updated on the progress and making sure our stay in Klamath Falls was enjoyable. Such a nice guy with a great sense of humor and a commitment to making customers happy. Thanks so much!!!
This is the second vehicle I’ve purchased at Klamath Falls Toyota, and it was definitely a mixed experience this time. I’ll break out some pros and cons here.
Pros:
– They had a RAV4 Hybrid in stock and listed at a fair price
– My salesman, Douglas, was great. He responded to questions quickly and was very helpful.
Cons:
– The finance manager, Levi was argumentative and unprofessional.
I nearly cancelled the entire deal and purchased elsewhere because of how he spoke to me. At the beginning, we had no issues. That was until I found out I could get a better price for my trade vehicle elsewhere. I called to see if they would match it, or if I should sell the vehicle to the other offer.
He became angry with me, saying “You already agreed to numbers, aren’t you a man of your word?”. I told him that I understood if they couldn’t match the price and I offered to sell my trade to the other dealership and bring a check for the amount. He then became angrier and said they would have to “renegotiate the deal” if I wouldn’t do a trade in. Mind you, I had agreed to the price listed on the car without any haggling.
When I tried to talk, he would speak over me saying “thank you” over and over, and then said I wouldn’t let him get his point out. At this point, I became angry and demanded to speak to his manager. Tim Boozer got on the line and was much more reasonable and respectful. We came to an agreement, and I drove down the next day to drop my trade and pick up my new vehicle. Had Tim not been reasonable, I would have cancelled everything and went to another dealer.
I’ll let you draw your own conclusions on whether to purchase here, as they do have some pros. But personally, I don’t think I’ll be buying from Klamath Falls Toyota again purely due to the interaction with Levi.
