My husband and I have had our car from them a little over a year, and then my husband was injured and missed several weeks of work, and right after his first week back I ended up in the pcu, and he ended up having to miss more time. My husband didn’t communicate this to them, or that he no longer had a working phone number at the time, so they came n got our car. we were 3 weeks behind on payments.
My husband finally at that point called and communicated and they were absolutely fantastic in working with us and letting us get our car back within about 45 mins of him calling n actually talking!!
They made us a great deal on our car, and our car is exactly what we wanted, we have had no issues with it at all!!
Our experience with them has been wonderful from day 1!
When this one is paid off, I will definitely be going back to them when we’re ready for a new one!!

BEWARE OF CAR-MART?
Bought a lemon from this car lot approximately 2 years ago and like an idiot I kept paying the nearly $500 a month payment! I was also pressured to purchase a vehicle I did not want only to be told I could bring it back in a week if I did not like it I could exchange it for something else!… The sad part is a friend of mine talked me into purchasing a vehicle from the car mart in Gadsden and stupid me with good credit and a great income picked a low rate hole in the wall car company that screws people over not only on interest but literally will sell you a lemon and laugh about it.
Beware folks think real hard before you do any business with these people because they will take advantage of you and at the end screw you over.
I bought my very first car from this place. First it was a 2003 pt crusier and i was paying $13,000 for it. my payments are every weekend and they was $120 for the pt crusier. when I would call I would get lied to about who was there and who could talk to me. Pt crusier ended up jumping time. The GM they have now said he is new management and is trying to make things better for me. He let me trade the vehicle in with no down payment this time. If you can find a car there that is worth it than I’m not saying don’t get it but just be cautious because not only have they lied to me but they have lied to my mom to. Management can change but they need to change majority of their employees.
When I was car shopping, I was unexpectedly without a working vehicle or a decent down payment. You could definitely say I was desperate, and desperate is not what you want to feel when making any important life decisions or getting into any large amount agreement. I got lucky because car-mart was a partner to me in getting me into a new to me vehicle that managed to meet my wants and not just my needs.
