They went over my entire contract in detail multiple times and made sure I understood everything I was signing before I signed it. Payments are based on your income vs outgoing bills and they make sure it’s do-able for you. The staff was all very friendly and informative, and made sure to answer all my questions in detail. I am very satisfied with the deal I made, And extremely happy with my little car. I worked with Issac Terry, and he was very patient with me even though it took me forever to get my insurance set up, and then even helped me figure out the insurance, and they printed my insurance cards for me twice so I didn’t have to do it myself. I was hesitant to go through Car-Mart as I have heard others say they were ripped off. But honestly, I’m glad I went to them, they explained my interest, and they explained the fees all in detail. And i feel like I got an amazing deal.

  My husband and I had a very poor experience with Car-Mart in Fort Smith a couple of nights ago. We were in need of a vehicle for my husband, he knew what he wanted, we had more than enough cash on hand for a down payment, and we were hopeful Car-Mart Fort Smith would be our go to place. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. We walked in at 5:15ish, knew that they closed at 6pm so we were just wanted to get paperwork started and come back and finish it the following day, but our salesman was not very professional. Our salesman, Jeff, came out, greeted us, and we went back to his office. We told him about my husband being employed by the Union, we also explained how that worked, we provided pay stubs, our licenses, and our social security cards. The salesman was very very rude, very condescending, and being downright ugly to us. He would not listen, and I do understand with it being so late he was probably ready to go home, but he really did not give us the time I felt like we deserved. He moved close to my husband’s face and spoke to him as if he was ignorant, and had a very ugly tone. Although my husband’s actions at the end were not the correct way to handle the situation he was frustrated, but we did hold the salesman to a higher standard. He also said that my husband was “unemployed” which is not the case what so ever, and we were told if we could not handle the “nicest” person Car-Mart in Fort Smith has then we would not be able to handle the Car-Mart in Poteau. I highly recommend that Car-Mart in Fort Smith evaluate the attitudes of their employees, and maybe take some pointers from the salesman, and other employees in Poteau because thank goodness they were kind, patient, caring, and got us in a vehicle today without one hiccup. I would also like to add that after my husband stormed out Jeff smarted off to me by saying at least my children knew how to behave. That is not the professionalism I would have expected from Car-Mart, but it’s what we received.
