a week agoGender and/or Race Matter here. While shopping around for a vehicle, I received a glowing review from a friend for Caruzin Motors. He recommended them based on him having recently purchased from them and how when he checked the vehicle out that he was interested in, he found issues with it and Caruzin Motors fixed each issue. Overall, he was very pleased with his experience. The day I went to test drive the vehicle I was pursuing, the staff there pulled out a truck that a gentleman had purchased there and the staff member stated, “We had it completely detailed for you!” My experience was very, very different than both these men. There were multiple warning lights illuminated on the dashboard of the vehicle I was purchasing and when I mentioned this, the response was, “You have to buy it As-Is.” Additionally, the day I picked it up, while they did install a new battery (probably because it wouldn’t start for them), they denied my request to even have it washed. It was clearly dirty. Also, when about the last time the oil was changed, the salesperson said, “I suggest you get the oil changed.” It was clear that they were unwilling to do ANYTHING at all except take my money. I really wish I had gone someplace else because I have repeatedly had trouble with the vehicle since the day after I left Caruzin Motors. I truly believe that my being a different race and gender than the 2 people described earlier had EVERYTHING to do with my experience. Whoever owns this dealership really should be ashamed, they sell lemon cars and get off on people who are financially unstable or have bad credit. I went in there not even 2 months ago to get a car, I needed a new one really bad, I couldn’t depend on people for any people for rides any longer. The man (I can’t remember his name) made it seem like I was getting really good reliable car and made sure I was taken care of. Or atleast I thought… The first week the check engine light comes on for the car? They send me to some shop in burton go get it “fixed” well 2 hours after it was fixed the check engine light came BACK on and I had to make another appointment to come back well they had me come back just to tell me that I had to take it to jawz auto repair in Clio, it’s now been 15 days since I haven’t had my car, they say they’re “fixing it” but in all reality we all know it doesn’t take 15 days to fix a car. I’ve missed out on two weeks of work because I don’t have reliable transportation, I was supposed to start a second job that because of this car that opportunity is ruined and now I just have to sit here and keep missing out on money, I’m a college student I have no way to class, these people are awful. I would suggest you RUN from this car dealership. Save up the $3,000 and go to a real dealership so you can get a car that won’t break in a week when you get it, so you won’t get screwed for 4 years with paying the finance company for a car you can’t even drive. If I could give a ZERO I would!

4 & 1/2 months after getting the car the car has died in my driveway and they refuse to do anything about it! Stay FAR from this place.
