The offer was more than acceptable. After they got hold of my bank for the payoff amount, it was a few more minutes for the paperwork and to receive my check. People might be hard on car hop because they do kind of screw you on the price because they sell finance and over time you’re going to pay quite a bit in your interest and the inflated cost of the car initially and their fees etc. But as long as you know that you’re okay with it they can actually be really helpful and they’re not bad for being like the Go to spot for people with bad credit no money to put down etc. We bought a car there two years ago and I recently paying it off and it’s been really helpful to our credit is moved like 100 points positive. So if you’re in a spot and you need a car and you have a job and you don’t mind paying extra for it then please check out CarHop because they will work with you.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I have had two auto loans with carhop, and have been a customer since 2019. My first auto loan went very well had no issues or concerns.
We are nearing the end of our second auto loan- and this year we have encountered some unforseen financial hardships (that is affecting almost every bill we pay). Now we have explained this to the finance department.. several times, have asked for their understanding as this is not a normal thing for us, as we take pride in paying our bills on time. They were able to work with us, (after giving us an extremely hard time) for two payments, reduced payment amount- just $42 less than the normal amount. BUT our hardships have continued and even manifested into more issues (my husband’s account was hacked and someone was able to remove his entire paycheck before we even knew what was going on) and we are struggling to make this next payment on time. We spent ALL morning calling trying to connect with someone to discuss what’s going on and to ask for some leniency regarding this upcoming payment. Unfortunately it took us over 22 calls and 3 voicemails left to actually get to speak with someone in the finance department.. now the person whom we spoke with was extremely rude and condescending with zero customer service skills. Basically stating that they had already worked with us and can no longer work with us. The payment needs to be made or they could and will take steps to repossess the car. This is after making payments on time for the last 5 years.
If this is how they treat their loyal customers, I would suggest trying a different facility to purchase your next vehicle. I will never use carhop again and will be sure to tell anyone who is thinking of utilizing carhop financing to think again.
Just bought a car. Sold it with bad key fab. With failed power steering pump. Broken rack and Pinon. Brokem motor mounts and transmission mounts. Transmission shot. Bought almost 2 months ago. Warranty doesn’t cover anything. Do not buy from here. It’s a scam.beware
