5 months agoMost of the process was not a problem until I scheduled the pick up. I scheduled the pickup for the day after I submitted copies of the paperwork for the vehicle. I was adamant that the appointment must be before noon as I work from home for a company handling protected health information and have to abide by strict guidelines. I was told that I would receive a call from the driver an hour in advance of his arrival and I agreed to the terms. On the same day that I scheduled the pickup for the next day, not long after clocking in for my shift the driver arrived unannounced. As he was a day early and had not called ahead my door was open and my dog was out. Before I could disconnect from the call that I was on, my dog bit the driver who saw him in the yard and approached the door anyway. As I got to the driver he told me my dog bit him and I told him that he hadn’t called ahead of time and wasn’t supposed to be here until tomorrow and most importantly it was after noon. He left agreeing to come back at the scheduled time but because I did not adhere to my companies zero tolerance for call avoidance, I was suspended from work for a week with no pay. When I called to get an explanation of what the scheduled appointment was for if the driver didn’t adhere to it and notify you that I had been suspended from my job because your company did not follow your own procedure, I was transferred one person to the next with no one assuming responsibility. After being on hold and transferred multiple times over the timespan of 37 minutes I hung up. I strongly suggest that if you have a process in place that you explain to your customers that you follow the structure you put in place. I was lucky that I did not lose my. Your driver would not have been bitten by my dog had he followed your process and I would have been able to use the money I received for the sale of my car for what I had planned rather than to supplement the income I’m losing because of the carelessness of your company.3 months agoIlham dealt well. 6 years agoI would not buy a car from these people. I bought a $14000 truck from them. I tried to go get it inspected and it wouldn’t pass inspection. Then when I asked them to fix it they refused and the guy who sold us the truck (Ryan) tried to sell us an inspection sticker under the table. We had to create a case with the used car commission in Louisiana. And they told us they had many complaints from that dealership. Acadian used cars told me they would reimburse us for the receipts for all the stuff we had to pay to get fixed. When we sent them the receipts the guy would never meet up with us and never reimbursed us. He sold us a vehicle with air bags that didn’t work and refused to fix the problem. and another thing is that the owner would not talk to me he just stayed locked in his office and hid like a child in trouble. I do not recommend anyone to this dealership! These people are not trying to help anyone for the better they are just trying to make a paycheck and live like the snakes that they are.7 years agoJust want to say I had the best experience with my purchase. Everything was signed and approve the day before. They left me stranded there knowing I came from New Iberia to Baton Rouge alone! They said they never seen this happen before but yet, I see the same guy from the day before also having to return his car. I been reading reviews and we aren’t the only people this has happened to. I left with my down payment though, ain’t no way they was keeping that. Snakes!6 years agoMy last auto was from Acadian. Would not even consider another dealership when needing new one. Mike, Guy, Ryan, only people to deal with. First, they only deal with excellent pre-owned, they quickly and easily put your package together, everything is top-drawer service. But SELECTION of autos is their forte as well. On any given day I could find 3 or 4 cars to satisfy all my desires. Don’t waste your time or money on Turbo motors. They cut corners and use the cheapest part possible so they can make more money. Sam which is more like Scam doesn’t know how to do his job properly. My car is still having issues even after paying a pretty penny for repairs. There are numerous car dealerships in the area that may better suit my needs and likely your’s as well.
However, The service manager. I believe is named Jeff was a huge help! He was able to correct the mistakes and was very kind and accommodating! He went out of his way to ensure that I left a happy customer! If I could I’d leave 0 stars.
Mr Sam is a real stand up man and will give you a good deal on any car or truck he have and he will stand behind any car or truck, so come out and see what you like.

Potential buyers please stay away from this makeshift dealership. It is very disappointing that my nephew who had been stationed in Kuwait came home and was taken on a very rough ride by this dealership. The list of issues is long, but the latest brings me here to warn others.
They committed to fixing items on the vehicle post sale that have not been repaired. They added a warranty that they are not honoring, unless honoring is equal to charging him for all parts for the repairs. As of today, the truck is a few days over two months and dead!!! Yes, dead – they sold our soldier a lemon. I am firm believer that humans get what they give, so I am allowing you as future consumers to steer clear.
My sister pleaded with them less than 12 hours after he purchased the vehicle to take it back and the manager and owner refused and said Louisiana does not have a three day return window. Now, we are here trying to get him to his post military education because after spending 20k plus on a truck — he is stranded.
Oh, and the reason the reviews seem high is because they have customers review before the deal is final and beg negative reviews to be removed. They got the wrong family this time and we won’t remove the truth. The final decision is yours, but be careful and know that the others reviews are probably not valid.
At first glance, I seen and read Turbo Motors reviews so i decided to see there inventory, I couldn’t help but notice there top notch Trucks and the prices were much cheaper than the other dealerships around. So ended up purchasing my 2017 GMC Sierra from Turbo Motors a few months ago, and I have to say, this is one of the best experiences I have ever had. Any time I had questions about my truck, I called the dealership and they assisted me. I have never had such a great Experience after the sale as I had at Turbo Motors. I would highly recommend Turbo Motors to all my family and friend’s. Thank you for everything and I will be back for another truck when I’m ready to trade this one in.
