  About 2 weeks ago, I went here to get my car appraised. Prior to arriving, my vehicle was in perfect running order, no noises or anything. We arrived there and waited for nearly 2 hours before they even started the appraisal, then they test drove my car and returned it to me. I started it up and left the dealership. I started hearing an awful metal grinding noise from the engine. I called them about 20 minutes later and told them what happened, they spoke with the person who drove it and they said it started doing that on the test drive. I asked politely to speak with who drove it to ask them what exactly happened and the manager rudely said “No, we aren’t going to let you do that”. Then I asked if I can come in to speak with someone about this, his answer was “We are not going to do anything about it”. The following morning I took it to a mechanic and he said the flywheel has come loose and some teeth have chipped off. That happens when the vehicle is driven harder than it is supposed to be driven. It is appalling to me how they can test drive your vehicle and break it and not do anything about it, but if you were to drive one of their vehicles and break it, you’d be liable. I will be pursuing legal action against Carmax of Bakersfield.
