A true gem for Mexican food in the heart of Livingston. This restaurant has a very uplifting vibe with gorgeous decorations, comfy seating, fun music, and wonderful service. The woman who sat us immediately served us warm tortilla chips and the best salsas I’ve ever had! The meal was flavorful and filling and so reasonably priced – I got the shrimp enchiladas and my partner got the shrimp tacos. I will definitely come back if I ever find myself in the area again.

Pleasantly surprised! I did not expect such fresh food! Delicious! And the margaritas…. Woah mamma! So good! They don’t skimp on the wine pours either. Yes please! Everything tasted fresh, made to order, and was absolutely delicious.

We were very happy. Prices were reasonable. Crew was polite and attentive. Obviously not a chain. Bathrooms were clean, as well as the dining room

Good place for dinner. We sat at the bar and Amber took great care of us. It’s mostly sushi and related menu items. The do have burgers and some other non-sushi offerings. My burger was excellent and my wife had the salmon cakes, yummy too! Nice selection of craft beer also. Good customer service.

Something different! We really enjoyed our meal at Neptune’s. After Yellowstone flooded and changing our vacation plans. I wasn’t sure where to eat in Livingston. I ordered the rice bowl and brussel sprouts. I wasn’t sure about all the different ingredients but it was so good! My husband ordered the bacon cheese burger. It was fresh and filling! They have fish and sushi if that’s your thing. Like the seaside decor.

Great drinks and atmosphere. Got seated at the bar right away around 6pm. Ordered drinks only, no food, but I have eaten here in the past and it’s great! They also have one of the towns only electric charging stations outside 🙂

Seriously good food and beer! My favorite from Neptune brewing is the Knotty Lotty Latte Stout but probably only because I haven’t tasted all of their offerings…yet. Their food menu is vast and varied. I had a burger last time I went and it was excellent, but do not be afraid to try their sushi or other adventurous options!

pretty good food and nice staff, but the wait times were ridiculous. took over an hour for us to get our food from the time we got there (even with most tables empty and lots of people in the kitchen ?) most people who came in just left😬

We really enjoyed our garlic pesto pizza and Greek salad. The crispy crust was just our style. The roasted garlic was indulgent. We ate at the Murray Bar and paired our food with local beers. Food came out quickly and everything was delicious. Prices were fair. We would come back here again!

Stopped in on a Sunday for dinner and sat next door at Murray’s for service. Pizza was so good! I had the lamb pizza, my friend had the clam, both were delicious. Good vibes, friendly folk, relaxed and fun atmosphere. Highly recommend!

This is a pretty cool place. Selections of beer were great. I really liked the “Dirt Church IPA”. Three of us got burgers and fries which were good sized portions and very satisfying. You might have to park away from Gils but it’s an easy stroll to get there. A local suggested we go to Gil’s and I’m glad we did. Will definitely go back next time in Livingston!

Gil’s Goods has been a favorite for years, but after our experience Sunday, August 6th, 2022 our opinion has drastically changed! My daughter ordered her favorite-grilled cheese, on her recommendation I ordered the same. The sandwiches were all bread, seriously crusty with very little cheese. Worst sandwiches we have ever eaten! My husband ordered a BLT, which came on a stale bun with only bacon and lettuce, no tomato. About 15 fries that were cold. We are not the type of people to complain, but after putting out $50 for lunch, I guess we were expecting a better quality sandwich. Kinda disappointed to say the least.

Went for a cup of soup and a grilled cheese. The employee at the counter gave us the wrong soup de jour, so we were expecting tomato basil, but received ham and bean. My partner is made severely ill by beans, so obviously this was an issue. Additionally, the grilled cheese was made on rye bread, which was not disclosed at ordering or one the menu. I happen to hate rye, so this was also an issue. Last but not least, our incorrect soup was served barely lukewarm, and our sandwiches room temperature. To top it all off, the cashier made an error when ordering, charged us too much, couldn’t fix his mistake, and had to call in backup from other employees, only *one* of which finally knew how to fix the issue.
I’d suggest going elsewhere, and I know we won’t be back. The stoner lax employee atmosphere vibe is getting really, really old. The place is too expensive, too inconsistent, and not good enough to warrant further business.

Unique restaurant with a playful menu. You put together your choices without set meal options. There are specials too. It is a bit pricey and since no set menu, it’s hard to know what you will pay. Something to be aware of if you have a budget. Loved the local art displayed and that it’s available for purchase.

Such an awesome and quirky cafe to enjoy brunch. The atmosphere had it’s own vibe. The staff was so pleasant and fun. Rob was such an awesome entertainer while you waited for your food with his magic tricks. The menu was so unique and the food was delicious. I wish I lived in the area to enjoy Faye’s Cafe more often. Faye even had her cookbook available for purchase which I bought. I can’t wait to try out her recipes.

Faye’s might just be the best experience eating out I’ve ever had. I asked for something sweet, savory, and wacky and Faye absolutely outdid herself, it was delicious and absolutely unique, a combination of foods I probably never would’ve had otherwise. The table side magic from magic rob blew our hungover minds and the food & atmosphere healed us. Faye’s might just be my new favorite place in the world.

That was the most exciting breakfast I think I’ve ever had. Faye is a fun creative cook and our waitress was so fun and attentive! We had the special, which were huevos rancheros Mac and cheese tacos. PACKED with flavors and spice and everything nice!! Any wait to come back through and hav Faye concoct another masterpiece. Thanks Ladies!!!!

This place was awesome. You pick several words off the menu and they combine any items into a fantastic breakfast. My son ordered his with extra smiles. The waitress loved that. Food was amazing and with combinations I would never had tried otherwise.

Good food, loved the waiters and waitresses! Very homey feel. Food was correct and was a great start of the day, the only subtraction was simply the speed. Breakfast took about 40-45 minutes from ordering to at table. So on busy weekends, expect to be well over an hour from start to end.

Under seasoned, expensive. Extremely average for the price. Burnt sausage patty and hardly any sausage around the Scotch egg. Also it’s $2.50 for syrup, even if you order pancakes. Service was decent enough, but if you’re looking for enjoyable food go elsewhere.

So delicious!! I loved the scotch egg. I also tried the toasted oatmeal – I never want to eat regular oatmeal again. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I hope I get the chance to come back!

I got the waffle benedict, which was good, but could have used some more flavor. I also ordered a hot chocolate which tasted like a package of swiss miss – not bad, but not at all impressive. What disappointed me most, though, were the biscuits and gravy. It was probably the worst biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had. The biscuits tasted like they were a few days old and super dry. And I’m pretty sure the gravy was just flour and water. It was flavorless and sad. I couldn’t take more than a few bites.
The service here was great, and the restaurant had a great vibe, but the food was pathetic. If you come here I recommend sticking to pancakes and waffles.

Found this place while passing through town. We had the Waffle Benedict & Classic Egg Benedict. Wonderful food, great service, and affordable. We will be back the next time we are in Livingston.
