Our group was motor-biking towards the Black Hills, and we stopped for fuel. We asked for a local diner/restaurant, and Ken & Dale’s was recommended.

We were promptly seated and served, and our overall service was enjoyable!

We each ordered a different hamburger, and they were each savory and not over cooked!

We’re just in town for one night and we found this beautiful restaurant. The Broasted chicken is the best chicken I’ve ever eaten, it’s a must have. The portions are huge and our server was super friendly. Our entire dining experience was so good we’re going back for breakfast in the morning.

This place was excellent! Best martini on my road trip! Steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked to temp. Everything was tasty and timely, server was pleasant and helpful. So glad we stopped here.

Thought we would catch lunch before seeing Carhenge, Chimney Rock and Fort Robinson. Stopped at this place for a bite since it was on the way. Service was quick and was told the special was tomato basil soup. When it arrived it was too salty to eat, but the turkey croissant was tasty.

With few options available, the Alliance McDonald’s has hot, fresh breakfasts. Service all 3 days I’ve eaten here this week has been great. Compared to kiosk ordering in Vegas, it’s nice to see a person smiling while taking my order. The drive thru looked to be moving steadily, and there was no crazed panic being the counter or in the kitchen I’ve observed at other McDonald’s.

Came in and ordered a chicken sandwich french fries and a drink. Drinks were all flat, hundreds of flies everywhere. Fries were brown and greasy. Like they had not changed the grease from the day before. It was a terrible experience.

No special sauce on my big Mac none or very very little special sauce and there ketchup had so much air that the air dispenser caused the ketchup to be orange.

Update: I’ve worked my share of fast food jobs and I hate to say something negative about the people who work fast food jobs because it was a stepping stone for me & taught me a lot about customer service. That was 30+ years ago and it is getting harder to get good service anywhere, but when there is a business that shrugs when they make a mistake, it is squarely on the poor management, lack of training and the owner being MIA & not caring about the community they serve. I expect such lackluster service from big cities in blue states but a quaint little town as lovely as Alliance deserves better.

Was told this was a great place for Mexican years ago, and they’ve held true. Their sauces are the BEST toppings : Verde (green), Colorado (red), and a creamy Queso. They do the basics excellenté, that most gloss over, like rice, beans, and guac. Tasty, yet not too spicy, except for hot n’ yummy salsa! Shredded Beef stuffed Chili Relleno con Queso did not disappoint.

I would said 95% authentic that place so in San Diego area are have a few 100% authentic Mexican foods Restaurants or fast Mexican foods there!, so I had ate Mexican foods Restaurants in different states in my life times, so in San Diego County, Imperial County, Los Angeles County also some in Riverside County and San Bernardino County are far champion to eating real Mexican foods!..

Food and staff are great. Can get pretty noisy inside. I don’t eat here anymore however. They raised their prices a while back and they’re honestly a bit ridiculous now. The plate my wife use to get was $13 and now it’s $20. There’s quite a few items they really should have looked at down sizing portions instead of such high price hikes. The one she use to get was enough for her to eat there and then both of us to have an entire meal as leftovers.

I get the price increases, but they really need to rethink some things.

Their is just something about fresh, delicious, hometown food. If you’re looking for delicious food and a side of ice cream then look no further. Highly recommend the fried onion rings and mushrooms. Got the fish Friday special and it was delicious. Bathrooms cleans and we’ll maintained and the staff are excellent!

Tasty burgers and delicious ice cream. Lots of space in the restaurant to eat and they have a nice patio with some yard games for during the summer. This is definitely the place to go for ice cream!

Food use be decent but for the last 3 months it has no flavor and takes 30-40 min in the drive through. After waiting so long we get home my daughters burger had cheese when we asked for none. And the chicken was so dry and full of gristle. Idk how mozzarella sticks can’t come out right but perhaps they should seek a new vendor because normally if you’re hungry you’ll eat a mess up anyways but this was repulsive.
